The Dummies series of books is always the first place I go when I am updating my technical and software skills. I appreciate the organization and the simple and easy to follow format in which the books are written. The only downside in this format is if you do want to go into more depth it is best to add to your library of technical books to get more in-depth information for specific techniques.

I read this book to see if there was anything advanced from Photoshop I needed to remember for my new job. Obviously, the library was out of cs4. It really assumes that photoshop is used for PHOTOS, and if you want to learn other things, I suggest other resources. I was less-than impressed.

Pretty helpful. I learned everything I needed to in order to teach it to my 6th & 7th graders. Always nice when you get some humor thrown in with your instructions.
