This is an excellent, practical, and thorough guide to developing tests that reliably measure employee competence. It also provides information about how to write good assessments and the relationship between objectives and assessment strategy. The end of the book gets pretty technical, covering areas such as statistically determining a cut-off score and designing parallel exams of similar difficulty. That said, these techniques are essential for industries delivering exams that need to be legally defensible. If anyone asked me a question about this, I'd send them here first. Great resource.
