Ariyanaachi is a Goddess who falls in love with a man from an upper caste. The guy’s family wouldn’t accept their proposal and rejects for a while. The guy wouldn’t agree to marry anyone else either, hence the family decides to get him married to Ariyanaachi. After marriage, Ariyanaachi will be killed by the guy’s father. One night after her death, Ariyanaachi appears in her husband’s dream and tells him that it was his father who killed her and to make a temple for her and worship her. Love, revenge, anger makes him kill his own father. He goes to her family and tells them about the dream and both the families build a temple for her and worship her. This is just hearsay, and I’m not sure if this is the original story. Ariyanaachi is a fierce and powerful goddess who is protective and
