As a whole, this series is little more than a combination of intense, gratuitous sex scenes interspaced by ultraviolent action scenes in what amounts to fetishistic gore. The artwork coloring is lush, but the drawings - such as the shoulders and limbs, can sometimes be a little disproportionate. The artwork generally improves from the second volume onwards.

As it says in the back cover, Banana Games can be aptly described by Thelma and Louise meet Tarantino meet sex. One booby gal, Simone, goes to retrieve her sissy lass/boy, Alex, out of a penitentiary. Both of them want to live another life, leaving behind the one of sex and violence that they led before. So, could anything go wrong? Totally yes, and in the most spectacular and sexy/erotic way possible. Wonderful drawings, and damnly erotic too, by Christian Zanier, of Image and Dark Horse fame, by the way. Not to miss, by any means, if you love action, sex and/or both.

Wirklich schwer zu bewerten. Der Zeichstil ist echt ganz nett und die erotischen Szenen sehr gut gezeichnet und sehr explizit.
Allerdings gab es hier auch eine gehörige Portion extremer Gewalt sowohl gegen Schuldige als auch gegen Unschuldige. Selbst in comicform hat mir das ehrlich gesagt den Magen umgedreht. Diese Mischung haut für mich wirklich gar nicht hin.
