Author These are DARK and twisted fairy tale re-tellings. I have added a trigger warning list under the description for those who need one.
A paranormal fairy tale re-telling… of a vampire, seven wolf shifters, and a shared love.
They said that Once Upon a Time an evil queen looked in a mirror and found she was no longer the fairest of them all.
But what if the vision appearing was of a wolf’s fated mate? A beautiful female vampire called Snow? What if the wolf had sworn vengeance on her kind after the murder of his father?
After Snow walks into pack territory uninvited, Alpha Kellan locks her in his cabin. But can he fight his attraction to his new prisoner, while dealing with the other wolf pack males who want her too?
This is the second book in Andie M. Long’s dark and twisted fairy tale re-tellings. Wicked words with happy forever afters.

I have really enjoyed these twisted fairy tales and totally didn’t expect to. This is snow, Ella’s daughter, who is a vampire. She gets kidnapped by a pack of wolf shifters who think she is behind something that happened to the previous Alpha, but is she the one who did it?
This story was huge, which as a reader is amazing because who doesn’t want a good long story. It was really interesting as a seasoned paranormal reader to hear about the different species of paranormals and how they work with each other. It felt different which when you’ve read as many paranormal romances as i have, that’s no mean feat. I liked the little nods towards the original fairy tale however it’s written so well that the differences made it stand out on its own.
The twists and turns in this story were really cleverly done and I totally did not see that ending coming! This book had it all, a bit of a whodunnit, a bit of spicy romance and a twist on a well known fairy tale.
As the second book we have Ella’s daughter Snow exploring the world on her own for her 20th birthday. Snow is a vampire but she was caught by werewolves because of threats they’ve received, basically wrong place wrong time…..or was it? Turns out everything happens for a reason. It’s a bit of Snow White and her dwarves, or wolves, and a bit of murder mystery. She’s more complicated than the Snow of old fairy tales, she stronger, braver and quite funny. She also has a large family which could mean more twisted tales about her siblings, next would be Isabel. I received an early copy and wrote this review voluntarily.
It’s so rushed and honestly I wish these stories had more spice but that would require a longer timeframe, it feels like the climax of the story comes too soon, and the conclusion also. I wish we had more depth and time to learn about the characters and their growing bonds…. But instead their love stories take up days to weeks (even though Ella was separated from hers for 12 years) for them to fall in love. Still lovely reading about Snow and getting to see how Beau and Ella have taken on parenthood
In this fairytale retelling we have Snow who is Ella’s daughter who goes out to explore and ends up being caught by the werewolves. There is a bit of mystery going on and she has walked straight into the middle of it. Vampires and werewolves don’t mix but in this case with all the twists they do. You can’t help who you fall for. Like the first book I really did enjoy the paranormal retelling of this fairytale.
