I thought Hypnotized was an interesting book. It's about an eighth grade student named Rufus and how his only friend, Phil has always dreamed of being a hypnotist. He tried to hypnotize people countless times and all of his attempts failed to the point where Rufus lost all hope in himself until one day the unthinkable happened. Phil hypnotized Rufus's older sister, Alexa. Rufus wanted to pay back Alexa for treating him terribly. For being rude to him. With this power they could order her to do everything and anything they want! But with power comes consequences. Phil and Rufus need to be careful in not letting anyone know she's hypnotized nor make her do anything they might regret in the future. And very soon their plan goes downfall and now Rufus needs to deal with his lovesick junior hypnotist who's gone head over heels for his sister along with a sister who's kindness has gone too far. As good as this book sound I was quite disappointed. The plot is so incredible and and the author could've done so much more with the story but left me hanging. They barley made Alexa do anything and as far as the characters no description at all of how they looked. I kept reading hoping something would happen but nothing did. Though the surprise at the end was okay. overall I felt like the Author could have done something else and given a better description. As for the setting and characters. An okay read.

This book is very interesting. The main characters are Rufus, Phil, and Alexa. Rufus and Alexa are both siblings who live under the same roof as there father and mother, Phil is just a good friend of Rufus. Alexa is 15 two years older then Rufus, she really hates her body because she thinks shes getting fat each day. Both siblings hate each other at the best of times. Phil is a "hypnotist" is what he calls himself, before Phil he said that he read books about how to hypnotize people and how to take control of it. Sooner or later Phil Hypnotized Alexa with her permission and her younger brother Rufus's to. Rufus is kinda exited to order Alexa to do things for the both boys because they both have power over her, since Phil hypnotized her. They order her to be nice to her parents and Phil. Alexa had to babysit them. She made them both pancakes while still hypnotized. Later their mom and dad come home with surprised looks on their faces not believing that Alexa actually made pancakes for both boys. They both thought of that because Alexa isn't the type of person who would be nice to you, well what you'd expect? She's a grumpy teenager who stays in her room at all times. As Alexa was making the pancakes she put down her pancake flipper. She turns away from the stove and tips her head to one side,

Hypnotized is an average book about a boy named Rufus and his friend Phil try to hypnotize Rufus' sister Alexa. They hypnotize her and they get into some trouble but i can't tell you because that would be spoiler. This book is not bad but it is just as exciting as a book gets. I feel like this story could have had more settings because most of the story takes place in a coffee shop. This story could have had more information about the characters like how tall is Rufus? What does Phil look like? Why does Alexa hate Rufus? I also feel like this story could have been longer, like this book seems like normal sized book and i could have added more information but I would've spoiled the book. In conclusion this book is 6.5/10 read it if you have nothing to do or you have to do a novel study.

It's wasn't the best book I've ever read but it was sweet and short. This is a boy who really wants a nice relationship with his sister. His best friends hypnotized her. They have an overall experience giving them hope in their sibling relationships and their life dreams.

The title of this book is "Hypnotized", the author of this book is by Don Trembath. The key characters in this book is Rufus and his sister Alexa and a hypnotist. The main event that occur in this book is that the hypnotist is trying to hypnotize Alexa to change the way she act toward her family and friends. The central idea of this book is that the author is trying to teach us to treat other the way we wants to be treated by other people. I think the genre of this book is social issue. I think it is social issue because in the book, Alexa are having a argument with her brother. What I like most about this book is that after Alexa is hypnotize, she has totally change like she was another person. I would read it again because I think it is easy to understand and I would want to read more about social issue.

I gave this book a 4 because it was amazing say it is amazing because it showed everything I wanted to know about the characters and showed what do they do. Also I love this book because now I know why the book is called hypnotized the author put details in the book to show why it is called that. Also another thing I liked about the book is how each character in the book wants to do something but just cant from a sister a brother that wont allow. So I do recommended it to people who likes books with a lot of problems in it because there are special events and surprising/exciting events that happen. Read it to see it.
