Heart-wrenching drug addict book by Three Dog Night keyboardist Jimmy Greenspoon. I love books where the guy walks into a Jaguar dealership and buys the car in cash out of a briefcase like he's James Bond. Ninety pages later he's hocking all his gold records at the pawnshop to buy another fix!

Most heart-breaking moment is when Family Greenspoon assembles for Christmas gift giving and they all give Jimmy cool presents, and our hero then hands his family carefully wrapped I.O.U.s with tears streaming down his lantern jawed face. Awww!
I love books like this!!! When you see 3 Dog Night playing at Six Flags ask Jimmy if he ever made good on his IOU's.

Sex, dugs and rock & roll. An honest look at drug addiction and womanizing, sparing no details, but with a happy ending.
