Faces Of courage is a book about 12 individuals who are heroes and help other people out. In the book the time period is the holocaust and different people did different things. Louise is a girls who was “hiding Jews” at her house. Her house was searched multiple times and they still did not find anyone. She is labeled a “hero” because she is risking her life to save others (17). I liked this book because it had good details and very interesting stories. Sally uses imagery and intense scenes to get the reader’s attention. I gave this book a 5 star because I liked the book a lot. I never lost interest and it was always a good story. I enjoyed how the author put many different stories in, I think that is why I never lost interest or got bored. I suggest this book to you Mrs. Bauman because it is about the holocaust and I know you like talking about the holocaust
