Award-winning writer/artist Rob Osborne wants to conquer the world, and he wants to do it through comics. Seriously. Delusions of grandeur or tyrannical genius? His wife just rolls her eyes. God provides divine insight. A monkey chimes in with unwanted feedback. Resistance is futile!
A great series of one page comics dealing with the author attempting world domination, in mostly tongue-in-cheek fashion. I really enjoyed the build over the book, recurring gags, and even an interesting narrative.
This is without a doubt the best self help book I've ever read. Funny, insightful, charming and filled with heart, this book is about one artist's desire to conquer the world through cartooning. It's inspiring, motivating, and every artist striving needs to read it.
Very funny stuff. Reminds me of American Elf in a way, because it's a lot of one-page four panel snippets of life with a cartoonist. But it's not like American Elf in tone; it's much wilder and more demented. I want to read more.
I really wish I could give this 2.5 stars - something between "I didn't like it" and "I liked it". Something like "It was okay" or "Meh" or the star equivalent of a shrug.
