Scott Kelby is an American author and publisher of periodicals dealing in Macintosh and Personal Computer software, specifically for design professionals, photographers, and artists.

Kelby is editor and publisher of Photoshop User and Layers magazines, president and co-founder of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and is president of Kelby Media Group, an Oldsmar, Florida-based software training, education, and publishing firm.
Kelby is a photographer, designer, and the award-winning author of more than 40 books.

Awesome, Awesome photo editing book! However, this book does NOT teach you how to use Photoshop. You need to already know how to run the program for this book to be helpful, but it is really amazing. I can't believe how much better my pics turned out when I printed them this time after using some of these tips to improve them.

When I first started using Photoshop years ago, I needed a reference source that was easy to understand and this book fit the bill. In the years that followed, I referred to it often, and when I upgraded to CS5, I bought Kelby's book on that version and found it just as helpful. A must-have for a photographer's reference shelf.
