Eisenstein writes about his life and films; comments on filmmaking in general; and comments on Serge Prokofiev (who wrote the original music to "Alexander Nevski"), Maxime Gorki (who wrote "Mother"), Alexander Dovjenko, Charlie Chaplin and more. Includes many black and white photos throughout the text. The final section is 32 pages of black and white sketches made by Eisenstein. Presented in four 1. Mes films et moi; 2.
