Rate this book
This book is a well-chosen collection of Feng Youlans explanation on several representative philosophy schools and humanity. On philosophy, he not only approves the contribution of Confucious, Mencius, Chuang Tzu, and Han Feizi to philosophy, but also questions and criticizes the limitations of their ideas. Combined with current situation, he proposes a more reasonable way of thinking. On humanity, he presents some special and profound analysis on life and death, sense, thrift, romance and images.
