Getting to Know the World's Greatest Artists, Jackson Pollock is another nice edition in this fantastic collection by Mike Venezia. These books are perfect for exposing elementary and junior high aged students to a large variety of artists and styles of art.
This is a great Art history book that is good for students to learn about Jackson Pollock. It is a fairly easy read that allows students to learn about his life.
I love this series, and have used the books in many of my programs. Last night, I used this book in my Family Storytime. The children looked through the book after the program.

We have a program in our school district called Art Goes to School. Pieces of art and prints are brought in and shared with the students. It's a neat program.
