Jim George is the Dr. Seuss of self-help.

No one else approaches his ability to blend words and pictures to help the you let anxiety, stress, and gloom just fall away - because you don't need them any more.

This is a magical book, unlike any you have seen before. Words transform into words, which transform into lines and then pictures. The book is filled with drawings; at times, they take control not only of the book, but also of the words running around in your head. (Hint: the words STOP.)

Jim George doesn't just tell you what to do, he shows you. But this isn't anything like reading a
how to" set of instructions. It's like taking a 20-minute vacation, one you can take again and again and again.

Jim is a friend, and I've been a client of his hypnotherapy practice in Los Angeles. I never imagined he could hypnotize someone using a good old-fashioned book, but it sure feels like that's what he is doing.

Simply amazing. You have to see for yourself. The book is only available at Amazon:

It was a cute, very short book that points out people live in the past and future, missing the present. Notes that this is OK but it puts a lot of people on a permanent fight or flight response - not good for people - so to make this response stop, instructs a simple practice taking only a couple of minutes - track breathe, and don't think.

Doesn't call it meditation per se (short time span) but suggests could be very hopeful.

I have anxiety. I was recently lent this book by a friend who also has anxieties to deal with. But this book isn't just for people with anxiety. It's a great, quick, important lesson for anyone. It's an exercise in breathing and being present in the now, which is beneficial to everyone these days.
