This book wasn't bad, I mean it all worked out in the end but getting there was a journey that was annoying as hell. I liked Trevor, he was kind and patient. He was probably the only reason I continued to read, his love interest however was another story. My feelings for Ava were this :
I could go on and on, but basically this bitch was so quick to jump the gun. She never LISTENED at all, if she would have just paused and gave Trevor a second to talk most of the drama could have been avoided. In the end I couldn't figure out why Trevor kept pursuing her, he has more patience than I would have.

Free , cute and quick ..can't beat it . Just enough story to keep my mind busy a few hours . Will definitely read #2 because I really like Talia"s wit.

I picked this book free on amazon, I have to say I really enjoyed it.
The characters are very real and I really loved Trevor's POV.
Ava has been hurt by her ex, and when Trevor comes to the rescue one night in a club it ends with him kissing her like she'd never been kissed before, but just like Cinderella she runs off! Not knowing they would soon meet up again.
This story follows the ups and downs of there relationship and there friends, Talia is fabulous, fun, fiery and carefree. Trevor's friends have there own personalities that make them very interesting too.
A short read, definitely worth picking up.

Trevor...... Trevor....... Trevor..... What a luscious swoon worthy bad boy!
Trevor is handsome, funny, and arrogant all the ingredients for a bad boy. Then Trevor meets Ava and he is smitten. They share an amazing and toe curling kiss together the night going good until Trevor inserts his foot into his mouth and says something that Ava does not like. See Ava has been burned and she is closed off to relationships because she does not want her heart to be broken again. So Ava walks away from Trevor and he is pissed with himself.
Time passes and Trevor and Ava cross paths again and everything that was there the first night they kissed is there but magnified by tens. As Ava struggles with her feelings for Trevor he makes it clear that he was an idiot that night and he wants Ava and he will stop at nothing to have her. The more she fights the more she loses with the internal battle until she can't fight it anymore and gives in to Trevor. But can Trevor keep Ava? Is Trevor a changed man?
This is a fast funny story about two people who clearly like each other and want to be with each other but have inner demons they need to face. Can Ava get over her heart break and can Trevor be the man he knows he can be for Ava?

Ava is coming off a relationship and is at a bar with her friend who is determined to pull her out of her misery. While at the bar, she is approached by Trevor who flirts and acts like he is her date when she is approached by her ex in the bar. Then, they part ways and end up getting thrown back together in the workplace.
If it sounds familiar, it feels familiar just writing it. This was a short read, only a little over a 100 pages, and I felt like there wasn't really anything special about these two. I felt like it was a rewrite of so many other NA stories that are out there right now.
I am giving it three stars because I didn't hate it...it was just too short for me. I like a little more depth to my characters. And the price, wish I had caught this one when it was .99. I am used to getting much more bang for my buck for 2.99

Ava's Best Friend Talia is Hilarious! The next book in the series is about her and Tom, one of Trevor's friends. Quick Read, Great Romance, Hot Sex.
Ending had enough closure but I have a feeling we will hear a bit more about Ava & Trevor in "A Part of Me" due out in Jan. 2013

Ava's just coming off a breakup with a cheating, abusive douchbag named Kyle. While out with her best friend Talia, Ava runs into her ex. Luckily for her, a knight in shinning armor by the name of Trevor appears. Ava's not quite ready for another relationship, so she's quick to stop Trevor's advances at her, but she's very surprised when he shows up at her workplace the following Monday. Having just moved to the area for a new job, Trevor is pleasantly surprised to find that he'll be working closely with Ava. She's adamant that she can't start a new relationship and insists that they remain friends...the question is, can he help her mend her broken heart without falling into the friend zone?!

Some really witty dialogue (some bad language though). Some of my favorites:

She was so caring, and a good friend—she was everything I’d been looking for, when I wasn't even looking. But as strong as she tried to be, there was a vulnerability about her that made me feel so protective of her. I couldn’t help that I went all alpha male anytime a man approached her. She had no idea how attractive she is.”
“Oh Mom, it turns out my knight in shining armor was just some liar in tinfoil.”

This was a quick enjoyable read. The characters were a lot of fun. I enjoyed their clever quips. The scenes at the club were my favorite with the conversations that went on. It felt like a night out with my own friends and I laughed many times at things that I could imagine us saying to each other. This is simply a love story, no shock factor, no crazy cliffhangers...a love story pure and simple. I enjoyed Trevor and Ava's story and thought it was well told and very romantic and sweet. The side characters, Nick, Talia, and Tom were comic relief that I truly enjoyed and would love to read more about. I recommend this if you are looking for romance, steamy scenes and some quirky characters! I'm starting Book two now!!

Cute, Sexy, Short read!
I smiled/laughed majority of the time. Its refreshing to finally read a book that isn't full of the repetitive drama; the break up to make ups or the "Oh I hate you, oh I hate you too, but i still love you so fuck me senseless" lol
Ava and Trevor are the ideal cute, power couple with an undeniable attraction that screams HAWT! But honestly i think it was their friends that made me love this book, their friends were freakin awesome, specially Ava's friend Talia and Trevor's friend Nick lol
I think I will go ahead and move on to read Talia & Tom's story, think that might be alil more dramatic, right up my alley ;-)

Fun, quick read. I spent most of the time cracking up at Talia and Nick. Especially when nick asked why when a woman was pregnant they rubbed her belly and offered congratulations but no one rubbed a mans balls and said well done. That had me spitting water from my mouth. He and Talia were always throwing witty banter at one another. I loved Trevor. There were times that Ava made me mad, if she would just stop and listen but eventually they get it figured out. Can't wait to see what happens with Talia and Tom.

Un libro entretenido. Los protagonistas hablan desde su punto de vista en cada capítulo pero me ha faltado conocer un poco más a la protagonista para entenderla. Amigos, pasión y algo de risas completan un buen libro.

This is a perfect short read. I needed something quick and happy and this fit the bill. There is not a ton of character development, but hey, it's only 124 pages long! It's a cute romance with an HEA.

Nice, short story. The characters are in their early 20's, and the story is uncomplicated and full of the usual nice-guy misunderstandings. A little too sweet and naive for me to get into much, but not a waste of time either.
