Fascinating complete biography of Billy Martin. This covers all his life with a detailed record of his pecadillos as well as his baseball career. Good not just for his Yankee years, but his playing career and his time spent managing other teams. Great read.

What a train wreck of a guy Billy Martin was. A great baseball manager who could not control his alcoholism and destructive behavior. Terrible to say but not surprising at all the manner that he died. It is a good read, especially on his managerial stints in Minnesota, Detroit, Oakland and of course the Yankees.
