Honest review, courtesy of Book Sirens. This was a quick read! I really enjoyed the characters, but was hoping for a bit more depth into the story. I liked the pacing of the events, but found that the chemistry between the characters was just a bit surface level. This book had minimal spice if you typically like a little more 🌶️🌶️🌶️ in your life. Overall 2.5/5⭐️.

I enjoyed Conquest so very much. I found the story emotional and the relationship between Tess and Logan, who begin as rivals and end up being lovers, very tumultous and intense. I sometimes wanted to shake Logan! He could be such a frastrating character.
