Prudence Stewart is FINALLY getting her witch on at Agatha's Day School. Sadly, her love life isn't quite so charmed. Boy trouble is lurking,
• First, there's Angelo, Pru's adorable crush-next-door. When he shows up at Agatha's, it spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E for Pru. Especially when it comes to...
• Samuel, Pru's best bud and tutor in all things magical. For Angelo and Samuel, it was loathe at first sight.
• And then there's Daniel, the bad boy with wicked talent -- who also happensto be the great-great-great-great-grandson of Pru's nemesis, Agatha herself.
With all this boy drama, it's all Pru can do to prep for the national cheerleading competition -- the one that will bring her broomstick-to- spirit-stick with her former squad AND her boy-stealing ex-BFF.
A little magic just might come in handy right now....
USA Today bestselling author Kelly McClymer writes fairytale-inspired romances set in Victorian England (although a few characters escape to the United States), fairytale fantasy, and mom-inspired mystery.
Kelly shares her characters’ family values: she grew up with three younger sisters and has successfully raised three children of her own. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Kelly’s first published writing was for her high school newspaper and she’s been writing fiction in many forms ever since. While she explores many genres including historical romance, mystery, young adult, and fantasy, her stories share common themes: developing inner strength, the power of love in all it’s forms, triumph of good over evil, and the strength of family connection.
Going into spring break, I did not know what to read until I went on Actively and found this book called “She’s a Witch Girl” by Kelly McClymer. I have always been intrigued by witch books so I decided to read it. I got interested even more when it mentioned the use of magic for love in the summary. The book was enjoyable. Overall, I liked it.
The plot was great because it included magic, witches, and a bit of love life. Reading the summary it spoke about boys and the crushes the main character had on some. I honestly thought it would have drama. It did!! Not everything was about boys though, it was about friendship and character development. Throughout the book, you can see the character changing as she starts to find friends who see through her “image” and love herself.
This book could be better if there were a bit more details so I could better picture the scenery. One time the author mentioned the friends hanging out but because there was so much talking it was hard for me to visualize them together having fun. I would just want there to be a clear picture and clear dialogue as well.
I think fantasy/love kind of people should read this because it includes magic, high school love, friendship, feuds/drama, but it all comes well together in the end.
Fun series, you can read it out of order because the author give you a bit of back story but much more fun is you read it in order and like it was one long book. I had checked them all out at the same time from the library
Prudence Stewart is FINALLY getting her witch on at Agatha's Day School. Sadly, her love life isn't quite so charmed. Boy trouble is lurking, big-time:
• First, there's Angelo, Pru's adorable crush-next-door. When he shows up at Agatha's, it spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E for Pru. Especially when it comes to...

My Thoughts
A cute fun read. The book is pretty much like the movie Bring it on movie but, in witch mode. Story takes place with a girl in high school going to and all witch school who is on the cheer-leading team. They want to do away with the cheerleaders and just have the sports so she goes on to campaign to win the right to keep cheering. She , is hoping that is she does that the she can convenience them to enter a cheer competition. The have strict rules on mixing with mortals. Her love interest has a secret that is revealed and the mystery of it all unravels and she helps her pal learn his witch(y) abilities. This book was rated for a Teen but, I found it to be for the much younger kids. Most of what went on in this book was figuring how to out mover the counsel and get them to do it her way. But, she needs to be sneaky to win .She lives and breaths cheering so she not ready to give up even if she has to break the rules and spy on her competitor's.
Things are finally looking up for Prudence Stewart. She's no longer in remedial magic classes at Agatha's Day School for witches and her cheerleading team realizes what they need to do in order to win a place in the National Cheerleading competition. Winning the competition would mean beating her old high school cheer team and Pru doesnt mind if it means betting her former boyfriend stealing friend. UNfortunatly, Pru has three guys in her life creating drama: Angelo, the cute mortal next door, Samuel, the geeky best friend, and Daniel, the hot bad boy who ran away but still keeps a little contact with Pru. Pru has to learn how to balance school, cheerleading, and boys in her new magical life.
I really enjoyed all of the books of this series. I had a bit of a problem connecting with Prudence, since her whole way of thinking is so far removed from my own, but I loved Samuel. The only problem was that I couldn't tell from the ending of this book if there would be one after it; I'm hoping so because the ending didn't quite satisfy me the way I feel it should.
There is a whole series of these! they are really good! I <3 them, but the witches aren't like hp. AT ALL! this is more like a normal high school girl with guys and cliques and choices and betrayal. its like evryday life @_@
The last book in the Salem Witch series. Cheerleader Prudence is finally finding her place at Agatha's Day School for Witches; the only thing left to discover is that elusive magical Talent.
This was a really cute series with a heroine that I grudgingly came to like.
Cute, funny, and with surprising twists that I did not see coming at all. It follows a typical storyline about cheerleaders, but with a witchy twist. And I mean that literally.
i have only read like a 4th of this book bur so far i love it i didn't like the begging though it was sort of boring because they were just having there holiday dinner(boring!!!!)
The book ended pretty much as I expected, but since that's how I wanted it to end, I am happy. Pru stopped being so intense about being "kewl" in this book, so that was a nice change.
