Not sure if the translation was potentially the issue at certain points (as I do not speak French), or if Charlie B just lives for the drams, but LORD this was a slog. What I wanted was super sexy; what I got was more self-pity and angst than a junior high school dance.
Bumped up from three stars to four because there were some gems in here, and the constant exclaiming of, "Calm down, Bro!" while reading it did add to the experience.
