After twenty years, the couple are on the brink of divorce, not due to infidelity or loss of love, but due to boredom; they have little in common after the kids moved out and rarely have sex. Their therapist suggested a rather unconventional therapy at Resuscitate Your Marriage on a secluded island. The administrators of the site, Magda and Jackson, determine Bill is a closet Alpha and Muriel craves discipline. They teach the couple various techniques, such as spanking, an activity they both embrace. The night before they complete the course, they attend dinner at the club restaurant where Bill instructs her to wear an insertable remote-control vibrator. He gives her an amazing orgasm in the dining room without divulging their secret. Later, when they return to their room, he punishes her with OTK spankings with his hand and with his belt. It is a revelatory night as they reassert their love for each other. This was simply an excellent book following tropes that have been used before but rarely so well. I’m looking forward to the sequel.

Bill and Muriel's blissful adventure - The MCs attended a marriage retreat unlike anything they could have imagined. They pushed the boundaries of their relationship, their passionate spark rejuvenated by the naughty homework they studiously worked on at their counselors' behest. A steamy shorty that will definitely make you sweat. The AI narrator didn't take much from the story.

this was good but not at all for me.
I'm not sure what I was expecting but yeah, not my type of thing.
also, there names made them kinda feel like they were 80 years old, not 45.
