Deanna Chase continues to expand the world of Keating Hollow with her newest book, Fortune of the Witch. Harlow Thane walked away from her ghost-hunting life a year ago after an evil spirit possessed her sister. Trying to start over in Keating Hollow proves difficult when the fiance she left behind also ends up in Keating Hollow. But Cash Moses isn’t the only part of her past to join her. Her sister Imogen, who can’t get past the role Harlow played in her possession, comes to live her. And the spirit who tried to ruin their lives shows up as well. If Harlow can’t banish this spirit once and for all, she won’t have a life to restart.
Overall, Fortune of the Witch is an enjoyable light read. I wish that the full story about Imogen’s possession had been revealed more quickly. I had trouble getting into the story because it seemed like there was just too much I didn’t know about that situation. I enjoyed the relationships in this book more than the actual evil spirit storyline. Obviously, the romantic relationship between Harlow and Cash plays an important role in the storyline, but the sibling relationships also interested me. At first, I didn’t care for Imogen’s character, but as I saw her interact more with Harlow, their relationship helped me feel more positively towards Imogen. And I loved the friendships that are developing between the Thane sisters and the other Keating Hollow witches. The most enjoyable part of reading a series is getting to revisit favorite characters.
I recommend this book, and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. The teaser for it intrigued me. I received an ARC of this book from the author, but that didn’t influence my review.

This was a great book with a lot of mystery and some pretty vicious ghosts!

Swoon Worthy Rekindled Love
First off, this is one of my favorite series, so I am a little biased. I love Keaing Hollow and all of the characters. The fact that the past characters are always popping into each book feels like a little reunion. Each book adds new faces, and Harlow and Cash are a great addition to the town. Harlow is a strong, independent ghost hunter who had her world rocked, causing her to hide from everything.. including Cash. Cash had some growing to do on his own to be the man Harlow needed. Add in some mix ups and misunderstandings along with their siblings, Imogen and Shaun, and a cantankerous match making ghost and BAM! You have some comedic moments and steam. The perfect combination for a Keating Hollow book. Escape reality and immerse yourself in this paranormal romance.

I have loved the Witches of Keating Hollow series since the very beginning! And "Fortune of the Witch" didn't disappoint....I loved it.
Book 15, like WOW! How does Deanna Chase do it? How does she write to keep her readers interested in the same town and some of the same characters? I can't answer that, but she does, and she has a huge following of fans! I have always said that I want to live in Keating Hollow....the magical town with down to earth characters.
The story is about Harlow, Cash, Imogen and Shaun. Ghosts are abound some good and not so good. Deanna Chase keeps the characters interesting and the story flowing. I cannot say enough good things about the author's writing and I feel that this series should be a Hallmark series. It's a series of friendship amongst the characters and they always welcome newcomers. I wish I had friendships like the women in this series.
Highly recommend. When I pick up a Deanna Chase book it's like going home and catching up with everyone. I am never disappointed in her books.

Fortune of the Witch is the latest entry in one of my favorite series, and it does not disappoint! I love a great character-driven story, supported by interesting settings and realistic relationships.
Looking for a well-constructed story based on love, familial relationships, redemption - and ghosts!- with some excellent edge-of-your-seat scenes that drive to a satisfying conclusion? This is it! (Also, who can resist magical golf cart races?!?) Deanna Chase is a masterful storyteller.
Chase’s ability to bring different characters in and out of her books, providing continuity but not confusion, is amazing. The characters grow and evolve, and each time I finish one of her books, I wish I could be friends with these characters. A must-read!

A very good story about two sisters and the spirit that haunts them. Imogen was possessed by the spirit of "Crazy Cora" for almost a year. During that time she ruined Imogen's life, emptying her bank accounts and ruining her credit. Harlow, Imogen's sister, is a ghost hunter. When she finally realized what was happening, she managed to exorcize the ghost and return it to the spirit realm. But things have fallen apart for her, her sister and her long time love, Cash. Leaving everything behind, Harlow relocated to Keating Hollow where she's trying to live a ghost free existence. Then Cash shows up in town. Next her sister calls and needs a place to stay. And ghosts are beginning to show up again.

One of the things I really like about this author is that I know exactly what I’m getting with one of her books so I’m never disappointed, and this is true of this latest installment. Cash and Harlow haven’t been together since they broke up a year ago because of something that happened with Harlow’s sister Imogen. We get to see how they come back together while fighting off spirits that exactly want the best for people. This is another heart-warming romance sure to please fans of romance and this author. A well-written, feel-good, book to lift your spirits. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Deanna Chase has done it again! This is an incredible book. It felt so good to be back in Keating Hollow, and I love the way that the characters continue through each book. It is a testament to Deanna's amazing world-building skills.
Reading Harlow and Chase's story, I once again found myself crying at different parts of the story. The romance was exceptional as always, and watching the two work through their past shows how resilient love can be. Sometimes just because we break up with someone it doesn't mean we don't want to be with them. That's the case with Harlow and Chase.
I've already pre-ordered Song of the Witch and can't wait to read Sadie and King's story!

I just love returning to the world of Keating Hollow, and this story follows mainly Harlow and Cash but you also get updates from Imogene and Shaun.
I knew immediately that I would love Harlow’s story and this one was just addicting! I binged it in a day. I couldn’t get enough of the ghosts, possession and a side of romance. There is a bit of family drama that is wrapped up nicely.
The narrator, Gabra Zachman does a fantastic job portraying all of the characters. I was engaged till the very end. She portrayed all of the emotions very well and made it a very immersive experience.
I cannot wait to read the next story.

An excellent book by Deanna Chase! I enjoy reading her books and this is no exception! If you like kind of a ghost story then you will enjoy ghosts who get banished! We have romance, mystery, and plenty of actions. Not all of the ghosts are nasty because Aunt Jane is an interesting character. Things from the past have to be dealt with involving loves and family members. The Keating Hollow witches help the two sisters and acquire two new members. There is an interesting ending to the book which makes you look forward to the next book! Enjoy!

I really enjoy Keating Hollow and all of the characters. Harlow and Cash are no exception. Harlow’s reluctance to allow Chase back into her life and why she left everything isn’t revealed right away. I had a little bit of suspense trying to figure it out. I was intrigued from the start about Cash & how he approached Harlow. All of the characters worked well into it. The story kept me involved and I was hooked into it.
Gabra Zackman did a wonderful job of bringing the magic of the characters to life as well as the ghosts. She made the story flow effortlessly.

The community is always so fun and inclusive!!
Especially when it comes to Harlow and Cash as well as Imogen and Shaun.
It was really cool to get such a complex, indepth story of new characters with such interesting abilities.
This story is extremely well written, you feel like you're there right along with the characters.

I love ghost hunters, exorcists and mediums… this book has clairvoyance, exorcism and multiple mediums as well as a 2 for 1 love story!!! I only wish the spirit was more identified…. lol

Loved that this story was a bit different from the other witchy powers in this series. While the romance is pretty important, I think the friendships play a major part as well. These are friends that will always have your back. The story was amazing and I loved the main characters.
The next book looks just as good as this one and I can’t wait!

I love this series. The characters and themes from the series continue in each book. Each character has their quirks which make the series interesting.
I read this book in one afternoon while it was miserable outside. The story captures your attention and keeps you turning the pages.

This book was fantastic. It has family drama, new love, rekindled love ,crazy ghosts and amazing friends. I was on the edge of my seat several times in book. The Marlow Imogene and Cash and Shaun stories interwoven are perfect insight to family. This series Should not be missed. Come meet everyone in Keating Hollow you will love them too. Can't wait for next book in series.

Great addition
I really enjoyed Harlow & Cash’s story. Normally, mediums are my least favorite of witches but this story was very different. Also enjoyed the family angle. And of course we got a golf cart race. This one could be read stand alone as there is less interplay with previous series characters. Looking forward to the next book.

I immediately fell in love with Harlow and Cash! Though they parted ways a year earlier, fate brought them both to Keating Hallow. Their story was full of action as they helped clear ghosts from town and happiness as they rediscovered their love for one another. I love how real the characters and their story feel. Gabra Zackman brings the town to life with her narrative.

Not great start
I have been reading all of the Keating Hollow book form the start and this is the first time I've had to make myself to read it. In all other books I've felt like going home. This book I wasn't even sure I was reading the right book. I didn't know anything till I was almost at the end.
I was disappointed in this one.

Love Harlow and Cash! They have amazing chemistry. Evil spirits beware, the ghost hunters have teamed up again! I absolutely love having everyone in Keating Hallow becoming family and looking out for one another!

I have read the whole series and each one is always a very easy read. The characters keep me coming back and the variety of stories and how they connect is entertaining. Keeps me wanting more!
