I loved the themes & tropes. There were elements of the story I really liked. I loved how devoted the 2 heroes were, they would go above and beyond for the heroine. They're very OTT.
Has a sweet HEA (MFM).

But... it fell short in a number of areas, for me. I've listed a couple below.

Repetitive inner dialogue.

There were some basic errors too, I've only listed a couple of those.

Ch 56 - Shower Scene (Torches instead of touches)
.. .
"Their torches are gentle yet firm as they strip me down to nothing."...

.
Ch57 (instead of 'I sit back')
......
"I back sit in my seat at the police station, waiting for the detectives to come back in." .

Definitely a Dark Story

The story kept my attention engaged until near the end. During the last few chapters, the two male characters kept repeating themselves. We didn't need to have their feelings drilled into us.

Great Read

This book was a very good read. Again, a very realistic situation and could have possibly taken place. I have a love for the alpha males but it was nice to see the female character take on some dominance in things. Recommend you read this one.

CHECK THE TW and CW, there are sensitive topics and actions that happen in this book.
Spice - 5. This book is a why choose, taboo, obsession, stalking, trauma, bully romance, dark romance, dominance, illegal activities, tattoo hotties, passion, and more.
I literally don't even know where to begin with this book. The Keller boys have had a special place in my heart since I first read about them. I even have a girl crush on Hartley from her strength. That girl goes through way too much for a teenager. She was forced to grow up after her mom passed away, then when her father ended up in jail, and everything that happens with her uncle (TW) She "grew" up with the Keller brothers, her and Ryker are the same age and grow up bullying each other, well he bully's her and she fires back. Raiden is 2 years older than both of them. She know him through Ryker, their family who are well known, and from him working with her father. After an encounter between her and Raiden he starts to become obsessed with her. He starts stalking her and watching her from the shadows, which is funny because she knows that he is there the whole time she just doesn't say anything. Raiden was being groomed by his father to take over the family business, Raiden wanted nothing to do with it and became a known criminal, appearance is everything to his father, so he ends up disowning Raiden. He then moves his sights to Ryker, our pretty boy, football star, "Good" boy. Rykers obsession with Hartley starts out small then when she starts ignoring him and not fighting back it really drives him crazy. Hartley ends up falling into herself after things progress with the uncle. I just want to add real quick that you can literally feel her pain, Sasha does an amazing job portraying the emotions. She finally give in to her desires and has a night with them. She isn't one to ask for help or to let people in so it was very difficult to have the boys help her with her pain. Just when you think everything is going better another bomb is thrown their way when Hartley gets kidnapped right in front of them. They literally couldn't do anything but watch because of how the kidnapper had Hartley (CW). The boys turn into even more badbooties and comes in taking everything. There is a happy ending and she even goes 15 years down the road, which no author every does. It was a perfect ending and full circle. I loved loved loved this book and I am so excited for it to come out on paperback.

Favorite Quotes:
"Her pain is the same as ours, her suffering is the same as outs, her f****** rage is the same as ours, and f*** I can't wait to f****** taste her, experience her."

Love though... well, love is wanting and needed that one thing or person to the point of feeling as if you're going to die without them or without it."

"Hartley has awakened our cravings."

❗Research age demographics, CWs, and Severr TWs for this books prior to reading to determine whether or not they're appropriate for you.

"Abuse of one is abuse of both"

"Hate and love are like salt and pepper. They might not always agree on everything, but when you put them together, they make a perfect mixture that takes you to a completely different level."

I am completely emotionally exhausted but exhilarated at the same time. This book crossed so many boundaries that many people might not be able to handle, but if you're able to look past the triggers and the taboo lifestyle, you might be surprised at the way the book leaves you feeling in the end.

Hartley has nothing to guide her in the ways of how to give or receive the appropriate kind of love. Through unorthodox measures she not only finds herself she manages to find the real meaning of complete and fulfilling love.

Raiden has always taken the brunt end of the hate from his father Because he felt it was his responsibility and he thought he was strong enough to do so for so long.. He was excellent protector and he loved his brother more than anything in the world..

Ryker Is it complete opposite of his brother? And he has denied his best to become what his father asked by being an excellent football player. Is temperament is 360° different than his brother But he feels everything his brother does. And they agree on so many things at the same time..

The brothers had vowed from a very early age. That Hartley would never suffer from anyone else's hands. The boys would eventually be able to show her exactly how they felt And be able to make all 3 of them feel completely whole.. This story is a roller coaster of extreme emotions and even more Tramatic actions. Yet I wasn't able to set it down till it was finished.

There are not enough adequate words to describe exactly how my emotions were throughout this book. Accept that I was able to make it through the triggers without breaking down and It wasn't until the very end that I couldn't hold the tears in any longer..

Sasha Did a stupendous job combining all of the things that people don't want to talk about and turned these Horrific traumas into a beautiful existence of a happy ending.
I suggest you check on the TW's but give this book a try.

Happy Reading 📚

"When we found each other, my brother and I were consumed in our darkness, our hate, and our pain. She silenced it all and took it as her own, just like we have done for her and her pain" ❤🔥

This story is absolutely awesome! Ryker, Raiden and Hartly all share the same darkness and traumas! They all have their dark stories! Each one of them needed each other to swap away their darkness! They all have their battles with their families
The aspect that captivated me the most is the masterful use of multiple povs that reveal how the roots of their darkness and how the Keller brothers became the way they are!
Loved how they had known each other since childhood, growing up through a tumultuous cycle of bullying and animosity until they eventually realized that they were meant for each other!!💕
Ryker is dominant while Raiden always asks for permission! They're both sweet and hot. I have a crush on them both 🔥 Love how they risk their lives for the sake of Hartly's protection and how they can kill anyone no matter who for her to be safe🔥❤ They killed their own father and her wicked uncle after knowing that they touched what it belonged to them and hurt her feelings!🔥❤
Their relationship is different and unique and made the people in their town coexist with it unwillingly at the end after they were talking rumors about their taboo love all the time They proved that they deserve and were made for each other! The end was absolutely PERFECT for all of them🥰

🚨It has strong themes that might be triggering! Read them before reading!

This is the best dark romance story ever because it's written by the QUEEN OF DARK ROMANCE 😍

This one is the story of the Kyler brothers, Raider, Ryker's struggle against an abusive father. While the FMC, Hartley who suffers abuse at the hands of her uncle, an abuse which maybe her father is aware of but is hardly bothered about it.
Raider, Ryker and Hartley are bound by an invisible thread of attraction, dark desire and obsession. While their dad's are involved in certain immoral & illegal activities, the three experience crisscrossing each other's paths in this dark romance. The bond between the Keller brothers is such a strong one, immense brotherly love and a sense of belongingness to the family can be seen and felt throughout the entire story. Another part thats interesting is that Hartley is seen getting attracted towards both the Keller brothers, and the intensity of her attraction is the same towards both.
There are certain scenes of violence which have been explicitly described in the book, but they are embedded in the story line, as and when they are utmostly required.
As a reader I was glued to the screen in an attempt to find out if these three would remain binded by the shadows and by the pain? How would it be if they come together ? What impact would their bond have on their lives and that of the people around them ? Would their paths be Crisscrossed or would they coexist and share their passion, love & longing for each other?
The story here is a multiple POV and is quite an interesting as well as gripping tale of love, loss, crime, it is a steamy read.It was quite a roller coaster ride experiencing this dark and shadowy love story

I don’t know where to start on this one 😱
This book was intense, Hot, Amazing, Sad, addicting, crazy, bloody!! (if you’ve read it you know what I mean) 😆

This book was a lot! But I loved the story these characters knew each other since kids and they just grew by bullying and hating each other but then they figured out that they where made for each other.
Mr. Ryker over there he’s such an Ass** and dominant well at first(he’s my new BookBoyfriend)🔥 and then there’s Mr. Raiden he’s sweet and always asks for permission. ( ugh why choose)😍 but they are both so good to Hartley in their own different ways.
I love how they are her protectors willing to do everything and anything for her no matter the cost.
Their relationship is different but it worked for them, a lot of people in town just learned to live with it specially because they proved that they where made for each other, I had to do my research about the twins tho 😆 I needed to know the possibilities of that happening but the ending was just perfect for them.

“We love her with every fiber of our beings and we plan on showing her just how much we love her for the rest of our fucking lives.”

The Keller brothers, Ryker and Raiden, and Hartley go through some pretty intense battles within their respective families. However, the love the three of them share for each other conquers all. Yes they all have darknesses that plague their lives, but, they are always there for one another, sharing the darknesses.

One of my favorite aspects of this book is definitely the way the different perspectives were written. Crisscrossed goes from past to present, explaining how each character became the way they are and the traumas they dealt/still deal with. Readers truly get an insight on the emotions and feelings of each characters. Instead of focusing heavily on character dialogue, each chapter highlights the inner thoughts of the characters (which is something I really enjoyed while reading). After reading all the perspectives, I can absolutely say that Raiden is my favorite character!

If you are looking for a fast-paced, dark, and why choose romance, Crisscrossed by Sasha R.C might just be the book for you!

Criss Crossed is a "WHY CHOOSE" Dark Romance that has a TRIGGER warning at the opening of the book. This book is not for the faint of heart. The story is based around the Keller Brothers, Raiden and Ryker, and their mutual love for a girl named Hartley.
Many scenes are very graphic and cover very deep subject matter.
The Keller brothers and Hartley fall into a love trio and deal with matters in which to protect and serve Hartley's best interest.

This is the first really Dark "why choose" Romance I have read. I found it well-written and very descriptive. The subject matters through me a bit aloof, as it was not exactly what I was expecting and nothing I had ever read before.
The storyline itself was intriguing and kept me reading to find out what the end result would be.
If you love Dark "WHY CHOOSE" Romance, then this would be the book for you.

Perfect for a reading slump!

This book is perfect for dark romance lovers! The characters have known each other since childhood, bullying and hating one another, until they realize that they are perfect together.

Ryker and Raiden and our two male love interests and the author did a good job making their personalities different enough where you never forget who's POV you're reading. Ryker was such a dick at first that I was nervous I wasn't going to like him....but I definitely came around! He's the more dominant demanding of the brothers, and Raiden melts my heart with his king of consent ways.

They are both perfect for Hartley (great name) in different ways. The three of them make a great team. And if you like dark romance you're definitely going to love their 'touch her and die' protectiveness! And the ending was PERFECT!

🚨This book has strong themes that might be triggering for some readers 18+, so read those TWs before reading! 🚨

The story of the Keller brothers and Hartley is my new favorite by Sasha.

I thought Raiden would be my favorite brother, but I fell hard for both of them. Ryker is cocky and domineering. Raiden is gentle and patient. Both give Hartley everything she wants and needs.
Their relationship with Hartley is forbidden by their parents. The brother's father will do ANYTHING to keep them apart. They will do ANYTHING to keep her safe.

Hartley is tough, but there are things she can't take care of herself while her father is in prison. She has to let the brothers in to protect her.

This book has all of the things I love.
- Why choose relationship
-Taboo
-Forbidden Love
- Enemies to Lovers
- Romance
- Lots of Spice
- Domination & Submission

Yes, their relationship is taboo and unconventional, but it works for them. Isn't that all that matters?

Dark Romance. Bully Romance. Why Choose Romance. All the makings of the perfect book for me, but sadly it fell short. I never connected to the female main character. I felt bad for her, but I never had that moment of liking her. Same for the male main characters, I did not love them. Usually I fall hard for the bullies in the story, but I didn’t get the bully vibe from them - stalker yes. They just didn’t hit the mark for me. Overall it was well written and kept me reading, but would not be a reread for me.

I wasn't sure I would like a bully romance, but this one really worked for me. I loved having the different perspectives and the multiple timelines. You really got a feel for the characters and how they became who they are. It was a heavy read for me since I very easily sympathize with the characters in books I read. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes dark romances. But check trigger warnings first.

Please read trigger warnings. This book is a dark romance and jumps straight in with multiple types of abuse. I love the relationship dynamic between Hartley, Raiden and Ryker and how the guys are complete opposites therefor when together they give Hartley everything she needs. I loved watch all of them heal from their own individual traumas as well as helping each other through theirs. Overall a very good book.

I absolutely loved this story! It is a why choose with brothers! Hartley is a 17-year-old girl whose world gets turned upside down when brothers Raiden and Ryker come into her life. I enjoyed all the twists and turns that are in this story. The author truly has turned the dark romance genre upside down in the best possible way!

Obsessed

Everytime I'm in a reading funk I see one of her books. They always pull me in immediately and I can't help but be hooked. I absolutely am obsessed with ALL of the books she writes. This is such an amazing realistic build up, how withdrawn she becomes is realistic. I felt her emotions. I loved it.

The story was ok, although the FMC drove me a little crazy putting up with the brothers like she did. My biggest issue was the formatting of the book. The chapters were very short and choppy, several could have been put together in the same POV (I understand the author was staying on a linear timeline with the actions, in which case I feel each chapter needs to be a little longer).
