So this one is pretty self explanatory. After a short intro where some basics are explained, it goes into one drink per day of the year. Every day includes a paragraph with a fact of the day, usually something that happened on that day in history, and the drink is connected to that in some way. There are also huge quotes about drinking printed on the sides of many of the pages. So the book is honestly more of a daily fact book rather than a drink book, cause the actual recipes are super short in comparison! There aren't very many photos either. It's mostly America-focused, though I appreciate that May 17th is dedicated to Norway! The writing style is too casual for my taste, if you can even say that, especially for something like this. It's also kinda dated.
There is a shopping list at the end, as well as a drinks and liquor indexes, which is nice, so you can find the drinks easier since this format isn't the best, I'd prefer that the drinks were categorized in some way. The drink recipes themselves are very simple, so it's something anyone can do. You've got the most basic and famous drinks, drinks with more unusual combinations and drinks that'll probably make you pass out!
