I did not like Lexus! Let me say it again for the people in the back. I 👏🏾 did 👏🏾 not 👏🏾 like 👏🏾 Lexus!!! Ion know who did what they did at the end of the book but, they betta watch their back. Noah Gabriel bout' to paint Rose Valley Hills red! And, B. Love gon' stop playin' with me with these damn cliffhangers. 😒😒😒 That's it. That's the review.

In Love Letters from Memphis, Noah and Mercedes were first introduced to us. Noah and Mercedes fell in love instantly. With such a cliffhanger, I believe Noah will paint the city red behind Mercedes.

The book had me engaged but I was stressed and simultaneously taking notes from the gems dropped throughout the book. Noah & Mercedes met while he was in prison through the pen pal program but I don’t think either was prepared for how things would turn out. I do think they will make it but that ending had me shooked 😨😨

B.! Ma’am, the letters! ❤ It was so beautiful, how both Noah and Mercedes poured their hearts out, made all their feelings, needs, and wants known; before they ever met in person again! I will admit I am green as fresh sod but honey I would take a chance with Mr. Noah Gabriel! Cause the way he was coming, made me feel some thangs! ❤🔥😂 He was soft as cotton with Mercedes but could turn on a dime and shoot the lights out if necessary! He was so serious about making moves to get out the game to be with Mercedes, and plans were almost in place. As soon as Mercedes gets up the nerve to tell her parents about Noah, he comes the ish! Really? You gone end that with me gasping like I done ran a marathon? Ughhh…… 🤬 Cannot wait for the next read. This one is going to be something serious, as both Nox and Noah are going to be looking for blood! 👍👍👍

These men wined and dined these women even while “sat down.” Noah did NOT play when it came to Mercedes. And the gems B.Love dropped? Chefs kiss. 🤌🏾😘It’s the cover, the formatting, the wordplay, the beauty of the story and just the love between Mercedes and Noah. ♥️

Noah is Everything
Okay, first I will say I didn't know there would be a cliffhanger. I typically will not read a book if all parts are not available. However, I really enjoyed the story. Noah was everything. His letter about purpose was everything I needed to hear because that's something I struggle with. Mercedes took way too long to tell her dad about them, but it all worked out. I didn't know how to feel about Lexus at first but, I understood that she just wanted to be supported like her sister. I hope she works on her issues though. I cannot wait for the next part.

WOW!!!
I loved Noah and Mercedes' journey. From pen pals to lovers but it also helped that they weren't really strangers because of the connection between their family circles. Things aren't as easy as they seem between these two, but they make it work in their own way and timing. I love Noah's patience with Mercedes. There is never a competition between the two when it comes to their acts of nurturing, caring, and giving. Just when Noah is about to make his exit from the streets, someone with a vendetta has just started a war by messing with Mercedes. Can't wait to read book 3.

Noah and Mercedes, love them, just like Lei and Londen! It took them longer to be together in public, but I understood Mercedes dilemma! Happy TBE sisters were able to bond a little more. Whomever shot Mercedes will have to deal with Noah, hopefully Mercedes survive, but I'm sure his will affect Noah!

Mercedes and Noah were just meant to be. Its crazy that they both carried the same feelings for one another but neither took that chance. I love that they weren't strangers to each other so their connection just natural. I love their line of communication even when they agree to disagree they found a way to make it work. Noah is added to the list of Mr. make it happens... its no excuse if a man wanted to he would! Mercedes showered Noah with the same love he poured into her.
Lex is lame and needs a good beat down and that's all imma say about that. Londen about help Noah tear the city DOWNNNNNNNN about Mercedes..... Yandi and Tussi wont be hiding for much longer.

B. Love and this darn cliffhanger. I can’t wait to find out who the shooter was. Man, these Rose Valley Hills men is something else. Who would have thought that letters written to some of the finest men in prison would lead to strong relationships. I loved the relationship between Noah and Mercedes as much as I loved the one between Londen and Lei. This book was very well written and flowed well. I’m expecting Noah to paint the city red after this.

Calm Before The Storm
OMG! that was wild!,”The Streets Will Never Love Like You Do (Ode to Memphis - book 2)” was GRrrreat (T-tiger impersonation 🤣😂🤭‼️)…Okay, dang book two was good, but Lexus was a natural pain in my posterior‼️Thereafter, I wasn’t expecting the cliffhanger, but I’m not surprised! The last two chapters were the equivalent of the “calm before the storm” when elevator music in drama and or thriller movies plays just before a major tragedy 🎭 … the only things missing was group hugs, Kumbaya, chocolate milk & warm cookie 🤣😂🤭🤷🏾♀️‼️Meanwhile, as much as I like Mercedes & Noah together (although them being pen pals lasted about two sentences 🧐😉) there’s too many obstacles obscuring their (real Noah’s) transition to normalcy. …The “secret society” is a major component to this drama! …and until all members, associates & or motivates are exposed there will be no peace, no transition, no calm in this urban storm‼️…I can’t wait to read 📖 📚 book three of this series

I truly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The building of Noah and Mercedes' relationship was everything. The appreciation that these two show each other I truly love.
I love how they want the best for each other.
I am glad Mercedes and Lexus were able to communicate with their parents how they were feeling. Now, at the beginning, I was looking at Lexus sideways for the comment she made about Yandi. Hopefully, she can fix things with Lei after that comment.
Now you left me speechless with that ending.
Am not sure what that person was thinking to do what they did ,but they about lose they life for it. ( I wonder if it is the guy from the club that Noah put hands on or Sidney her ex?)

The title and story it describes is fitting💕
Mercedes and Noah were made for one another. I can’t imagine secretly pining away for someone and finally getting the chance to experience them, but still having to worry about our love causing problems. I love a minimal drama love story and that’s what this was for me. Despite outside factors, Noah and Mercedes love did not waver. I loved how they interacted and talked things through. Even with Cedes initial hesitancy and Noah’s retirement plans looming, they still managed to make it work. I was patiently waiting for 6:30 pm to roll around so I could see what Noah had planned. I just knew we were about to get a HEA, but B. Love had other plans.
Now all I have to say is….when’s the next release? I thought I wanted more from Lei and Londen, but ma’am. Noah needs Miss Avery and she needs him!

Why you gotta do us like this Miss B *crying*. Amazing amazing read, until we get to the last chapter and she leaves us hanging off the cliff. Man oh man, it’s amazing to see how much intimacy writing letters to a person has, I guess we see how the old folks fell in love back in the day. Mercedes and Noah, goals, goals and more. The way they can read each others vibes, emotions and reactions, swoon. It was good to see Lei and London again. Cannot wait to see who’s next in line and get my nerves cooled after that hanger. I shall be stalking everyday till we get a date lol

OMFG! How dare you B. Love? Ending on a cliffhanger like that??! Lol I guess the bright side is that I’m late to the series, so I can just gon head and read the next book.
Let me tell you something. B. Love had me eating Noah and Mercedes’ story up, and I appreciated the fact that I couldn’t figure out what would happen next. I loved that they had great communication skills with each other and that Noah and Mercedes expressed their love and appreciation for each other through more than sex. I also like that they have lives outside of each other.
Now that’s all I’m going to write because if I don’t stop there, I’m going to give away spoilers. Plus I’m anxious to get to the next book.

I really enjoyed the love letters between Noah and Mercedes. They were informative as they’re getting to know each other better. And for us the reader, we’re given background information about them and their families. Which is extremely helpful in understand the dynamics of these characters and the city they reside in. Noah and Mercedes have captured my full attention as well as my heart.
That ending has left me in my feelings and speechless!

Loved ❤️everything about this book 📕!!! I like the mix of secret society with the underworld. Noah was definitely bae and he showered Cedes with so much love ❤️!! Cedes was sooo easy for him to fall in love with. She was cute 🥰 sexy with body to match. I was excited to see where the relationship went when he was released. Noah is more than just your ordinary book bae and Mercedes isn't your typical good girl who falls in love with the gangster. I'm iffy on Lexus though I cannot lie. I'm excited for what this series will bring for everyone involved!!

This is one of those must read, the beginning pull me in each letter would not let go of my imagination. Now the ending left me so lost for words my brain is in over drive , I had to reread those last few pages.

I don’t know what to say!! I am shocked and I need book 2. With that being said I enjoyed Noah and Mercedes story. I love reading about an intentional man! Noah was intentional about courting and loving Mercedes the way she deserved. This series is great so far and I can’t wait to see the fallout from the choices made ! B.Love strikes again

Great Read
I loved this book. I loved how Mercedes and Noah connected emotionally and mentally. I loved that they really got to know each other, and asked questions that we tend to find out after already being in a relationship. I just wanna know who signed their death certificate, Noah gonna go crazy and paint the city red. I hope Mercedes is okay. Can’t wait for next book.
