When I started to interview people for jobs, it was a reaalyy enoyable experience. Opportunity was given to ask both scripted and unscripted questions. Over time, the questions were all scripted. Interviews were less fun but they were at least fairer because no-on was asjed any question which revealed the intervew's prejudice, particulalry where women were concerned. So, any question on future family hopes were righfully discarded. My main concern about being only asked unscripted questions reflects more on those interviewee's wh0 clearly knew how to play the game and identified the answers they needed to give to the job (whether they answers were true or not). Doke's book would be especially helpful in smaller companies which do not possess a personnell department. It's also a good reference point for anybody who finds themselves either as an interviewer or interviewee.
