This book is designed for professional coaches and those in a healing/counseling or consulting oriented profession. The overall thesis of the book is profound, that metaphors are powerful means to create lasting transformation for individuals, groups (or entire companies!). Some of the metaphor/story examples are too long-winded and contrived for me and much of the text doesn't flow smoothly with various psychological terms and jargon used throughout. Overall the book is very much worth reading if you are coaching for a living and truly inspired to hone you story-telling craft with clients. I would not recommend it for someone just casually interested in the topic of story-telling though.
