Fairly standard 80s YA story. But...THAT COVER! It features a middle-aged looking Ken in an orange prison jumpsuit leering at a young teen girl. Dude, keep that up and it’s straight back to jail for you.

I remember reading this as a kid and relating to kathy. now I relate more to deena. it's a fairly predictable book, but I like that these girls never get vicious with each other. my niece will enjoy it.
