The authors explain how the Schoolwide Cluster Grouping Model (SCGM) differs from grouping practices of the past, and they present a roadmap for implementing, sustaining, and evaluating schoolwide cluster grouping. The included CD-ROM features all of the repros from the book plus a PowerPoint presentation.
This wasn't quite for classroom teachers, but maybe for a committee deciding how to implement SCGM in a district. There are some practical resources in this text, but it seems more useful for leaders to read this and disseminate those resources, instead of classroom teachers using this text directly in their classrooms.
Finally finished this. The publication date aligns with the “nothing new” feeling I had while reading. In fact, many of the ideas are outdated. Wish there was something more current on the school wide cluster model that was suggested reading from our school district.
