A hilarious modern romance follows Ashley Kavanagh, who, after winning the lottery, embarks on a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean, but her dream vacation is interrupted by a ship mix-up that forces her to share a cabin with her womanizing ex-husband. Original.
I've definitely read this before, but I didn't really recall it, which says something about this cute romance. There was a lot of plot going on, which I generally appreciated, but a lot of it relied on Michael and Ashley's mutual distrust and continual misunderstandings. They truly thought the worst of each other, and the reveal at the end was a little exasperating. I wanted more for the support characters. Kate was a caricature that proved more irritating than lovable.
I recommend to romance fans if you already have the book, it's not worth the energy is trying to obtain a copy to read.
