A nicely paced thriller starring undercover DEA agent Jack Novak. While working in.Cozumel a big case drops into his lap. Though it gets hot quick and he takes the blame so he quits and decides to do things his own way. No courts, no judges, just revenge.

Recommended, I like the character of Novak and it keeps your interest. Though it is way over the top. However I'm fine with that it fits for the type of book it is.

I loved this book! Definitely not for youngins or those who are squeemish about murder, violence, and sexuality; there is plenty in this. That said, I couldn't put it down. The plot twists and turns (some you can see coming, some you don't) People die, especially when you don't want them to. It made me loathe the bad guy (even before he is revealed), and made me root all the more for the hero. The best part was the way the story was crafted. The pace is good, the author only revealed enough to make me want to keep reading. I found myself reading at midnight and saying to myself, "I can read another chapter before I really need to go to sleep." I was thoroughly satisfied with the ending. Upon finishing the book, I leaned back and day-dreamed about living as a dashing government agent in a exotic locale.
