Discusses the legal framework for environmental law suits, argues that plants, animals, and natural areas should have legal rights, and examines the moral and ethical issues
This was a fascinating read. It starts off with the ways our current legal and moral system tries to deal with rights and ethics of nonpersons, and how it ultimately is ill-equipped. Then dives into other methods of legal and moral ideals that could better incorporate non-persons, and why it matters. It is not a fast read, written at a higher educated audience you have to put your thinking cap on and really read it slowly to take it all in. But overall a good and important read. One I will need to reread more than once but one I would highly suggest.
