Yes! First of all, I loved the title and cover of the book. It's too impressive and eye catchy. The author has beautifully plotted each and every character. Each character had its own quality. I loved the conversations between Isha and Sid. It was like living your dream Love story. I also loved the poems that Sid recited for Isha. Each and every poem was just love. well, well, I also fell in Love with sid's home. the way the author has described his home, it feels like we should have one dream home like that. Isha and Sid's character were something that everyone can fall in love with. I also love how Isha's parents accepted her decision to be with Sid. Things are surely changing now and mindset of people too. The plot is also good with full of twists, suspense, thriller. The office tales, the coffee date write-up, etc. everything was so pure. we can easily connect with each and everything in the book. The author beautifully maintained the writing style, as it was easy to instantly connect with the book. The tempo is too good. I loved the climax. it was something unbelievable. The writing style of the author is simple and interesting. The story is all about Work, Friendship, Bonding and of course Love over Coffee Date. Overall, It's a good read with full of love, interesting plot and good characterization. This coffee date is really an addictive one!"

‘Coffee Date’ written by Saravana Kumar Murugan, has a compelling plot with a highly addictive story-line. Although love and romance are the core of the story but that doesn’t mean it has just those mushy-mushy things to talk about. Don’t worry, it won’t disappoint you, I assure. The plot has a balanced mix of thriller, surprise and shock elements which surely would keep you in an awe as you read page after page. The story revolves around Siddhartha Abhimanyu a.k.a Sid, a cool techie! He is tall, handsome, and cherry to the eyes of women, a moody poet and a big fan of Nicholas Sparks. He has tasted success because of his diligence and honesty. Isha Reddy, a successful writer, director of three award winning short films, has a face of goddess, her big eyes can steal the hearts of stags in no time. More than everything else, she is the queen of Sid’s little heart. Their love for each other bloom each time they meet and even when they do not. The two most deceptive and equally interesting characters in the book are- Shivani and Niharika. If I’m asked to quote my favorite incidents from the book- The conversation between Sid and Isha- I feel butterflies in my stomach each time I read those, the short film direction especially the movie hall scene and when suddenly Isha disappeared (left me teary eyed). The author has creatively begin each chapter with a quote-like phrase which instill excitement and I must mention that each chapter ends with a suspense. You would have a hard time keeping down this book if you do have a habit of reading in parts. The book cover looks splendid with coffee beans spread all around the mug, as fresh as coffee and as soothing as its smell. The description of the author on the front cover ‘’From the Undisputed King of Romance on Blog-O-Sphere’’ seems promising and I congratulate the author for actually proving his credibility. The best part is, Coffee Date doesn’t end at the last page. There’s a stirring suspense on the last page of the book, meaning there’s a sequel awaiting: D The book could have been edited better but then a little brush-up would cover it up. P.S. - I loved the font used for chapter title. Rating: 4/5
Coffee Date - Book review The book is breezy and is a great choice for a light read in romance. The cover is cool in the front giving the unique feel of the book and the back cover is really cute. The beginning is capturing and gives the feel that the readers are in for a great deal of surprise in the following chapters. Choosing to have a small number of characters and the natural description of the characters maintains the pace and keeps things light as well. Portrayal of the characters in phase with the happenings of the story is very good. More attention to the language could have been given as it might make the book more enjoyable. I'd suggest more focussed editing for the sequel. Apart from the tiny flaws here and there, the book proves to be a strong dose of romance.
Coffee Date - As an ardent coffee lover, the cover very much appealed me. It's a cup and saucer with coffee beans spilled about. Also, the cover has a brown shade, making it all the more inviting. 'FROM THE UNDISPUTED KING OF ROMANCE ON BLOG-O-SPHERE' - something that read like the author was a writing champion made my curiosity brim with anticipation. In the back cover, the beans continue to spill and as if to spill the beans, some of the cute keywords from the story are added in stylish font. My brownie points to the cover well done.
Coming to the first chapter of the book, like the aroma of freshly prepared coffee, it starts off on a breezy note. It is a love story between the characters Siddhartha Abhimanyu and Isha Reddy. It starts like a fairytale. Siddhartha, whom everyone calls Sid, is a romantic by nature. IT Professional with a six figure salary, ardent lover of Nicholas Sparks's books, a naturally romantic poet who is on the verge of writing his first book 'Coffee Date'. Need I say more? And Isha, is like the Bollywood type heroine. She has big dreams about directing movies and is quite charming and has a mind of her own. The efforts that the author has taken to make the couple perfect for each other is laudable.
This is a story centered on Isha and Sid, yes, but there are a mélange of characters that stand in our hearts even after the book has been long read. There's Sid's most faithful friend Diwa, Viki, donning the same role on Isha's side. 'The Bugs' Sahana and Niharika are Sid's office colleagues. Even though Sid's boss Reena has quite a trivial role to play in the story, she comes off as domineering yet understanding. This shows that Saravana Kumar Murugan has developed even his trivial characters in a believable way. Some more points to Gryffindor!
However, as the story progresses, there are some lines which I thought could have been framed in a better way. For a good story, I don't mind about the type-set, but there were some missing commas and full-stops which kind of made it difficult to follow. That doesn't point at the author, but at the editorial team. They could have done a better job.
But nevertheless, the storytelling was right from the heart. The author seems to have the prowess to touch a reader's heart. Like his character, the author also has instilled some romantic poetry in the book that comes off like a swift breeze from The Marina. The narration is fresh and new. Usually I don't read romance, but I thought I'd give this book a try, and it turned out to be a good experience. Saravana Kumar Murugan has a natural flair for romance-fiction.
I am not delving into the details of the story itself, but if you have a penchant for romance and a light read, then this book is definitely for you.
And Surprise! The author has intelligently placed a twist in the tail of the book. He promises a sequel called 'Believe In Miracles'. The story-line again, is inviting and more powerful. I wish him good luck with the sequel.
I am very happy to be the first person to read the beta version and final version and review the book. I am feeling happy that I forced you to write and complete the book. My valentine's day gift is getting gifted to people. How sweet! Truly I am a very lucky girl. I am not going to give away spoilers, but I want to convey how much I enjoyed reading this "romantic dosage of love" from your pen.
The intro scene made my heart skip a beat. The first kissing scene and your description of her during the first movie date involved me in the story. Shivani and Niharika, I really liked the character-since they happen to be fictional character. They gave a tough competition to Isha. Believe it or not my most favourite chapters are "Candlelight Dinner" and "Just Married". Your once again made me believe you are the best hubby once could have. I do not prefer to talk about the last chapter—still I liked the way you made it up.
Congratulations, once again! Our baby and me are proud of you! I am sure whoever reads this book will come to know that you are really an undisputed King of romance. All the very best. Rock on!
I take the liberty of adding links to the review. After all who doesn't like to support a romantic person like you?
My rating ***** I guess it's when people start telling others about how your piece of writing inspires them. To me, that's true, your words inspire me a lot, and it should be the goal of every writer also----- to inspire and influence the choices other people make, all for the betterment of society and humanity starts with Love. You have done it in a perfect way... :)
Excellent light weight Marie gold book. The words chosen to start each chapter is heart touchy. A must read for hectic IT guys. Wonderful chemistry between the couple. The best book in recent times. Sure he will go high . A weekend went awesome with this read. Definitely I suggest this for the people who all r in love.. THE BEST
The book is as addictive as the title is. yes! first of all, I loved the title and cover of the book. It's too impressive and eye catchy. The story revolves around Sid and Isha who are madly in love with each other. Both have a very good independent personality.Isha, fun loving, bubbly girl with full of enthusiasm and Sid, a matured man with a lot of talents. They recite how they met first time on a coffee date and fall in love with each other. There are many interesting characters in the story, Niharika is one of them. One who loves sid and tries to break Isha's and Sid's relation using the power of Social Media. Equally, for Isha, Social Media is like a religion, She answers Niharika's every comment with power and cheerfulness which irritates Niharika to the core. Apart from Niharika, it's Shivani, Isha's Roommate who falls for Sid. Will their plans succeed? will Isha's and Sid's love story get end? There were so many questions that were in my mind. The author has beautifully plotted each and every character. Each character be it Reema, Diwa, Viki or any other had its own quality. The pace of the story is lil slow. There were some parts which felt like interrupting the story. But at the end, it was a curiosity to know what will happen next made me ignore that parts. The tempo is too good. I loved the climax. it was something unbelievable. The writing style of the author is simple and interesting. The story is all about Work, Friendship, Bonding and of course Love over Coffee Date.
Overall, It's a good read with full of love, interesting plot and good characterization. This coffee date is really an addictive one! If you love reading fiction, This book is the Must read.

"THE STORY IS AS ADDICTIVE AS COFFEE IS💕" Firstly, who will not love to read the signed copy of the book from the author himself?💁🏻♀️. A big big thanks to the author for giving me a chance to read such a beautiful and a romantic book. Though I don't like reading love stories too much but i will highly recommend 'THIS BOOK' to those who love to. As I've just opened the book, i read a line"Life is the most exciting book written by God and we are the lead characters" and these words just hit directly at heart and i continued to read further. The story is full of romance. It's seriously as addictive as coffee is! The thing i liked the most is 'the short chapters' that too ending with a suspense forcing me to read the next one. The words i loved 'SHE SMILES, I SMILE'.♥️ These words let me smile too😅. I just couldn't help myself from reading further. The flow of the story is good, language is easy to understand. Besides love, the story deals with surprise and thriller too. Loved the ending as it has left me in suspense. Waiting eagerly for the second part.😊

My review: Coffee Date is the second book I’ve read that has been written by Saravana Kumar Murugan. The plot is very compelling and overall hooks the reader until the very end. I admit that I myself completed this in one seating. The themes of friendship, love, and jealousy etc., are very well explored. One thing that I have observed in the author’s book is the beautiful way in which he incorporates the family life within the personal-romantic relationship one. For instance, apart from the romantic love, the reader can also see the parental love coming into the picture. It’s a welcome recurring theme. The protagonists Siddhartha and Isha are characters of the real world- with their heads revolving around their careers too and not just mere love life issues. The understanding that was displayed between them implies the depth of their characters. The friends involved are also well-plotted characters and the element of jealousy was brought in well through the actions of Niharika. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all. However, I do think that more time should have been spent on proof-reading the manuscript so that the errors in punctuation, grammatical issues etc., could have been avoided.
Romance is one of the most popular genre in fiction and this book "Coffee Date" is one another book in that genre.
This book is about Sid aka Siddharth and Isha. Sid is a techie and another boy of the country who loves to keep beard. He loves reading and writing. Isha is the director of 3 award winning short films. Later, they both fall for each other and they date over a cup of coffee. Sid works as the male lead role in Isha's upcoming movie. Post they get married and Sid got his invitation for USA. So he decided to take Isha with him. Later some shocking thing happens that put Sid into a situation of indecision.
This book got a very good plot. The twist at the end of the book was amazing. Characters were developed very beautifully but in the beginning I felt like dialogues were getting too cheesy and over dramatic but later they got better. Pace of the book was perfect not too slow and not too fast.
I liked the character of Sid because he was shown very responsible. He loves reading, he loves writing. All the things which I love as well so I kinda relate to the character of Sid. I like the way how the author gives importance to the other characters. I like the character of the antagonist of the book Niharika. She was a chirpy girl full of life who loves to enjoy every moment.
This book is a short crisp read with great plot, amazing thought process, amazing characters and you should definitely pick this book up.
Being a coffee person, I loved this book cover and the title the most. The story starts with Siddhartha Abhimanyu who is working as a team leader in Microsoft and Isha reddy is working as a director who directs short films. Sid and Isha fall in love with each other. Isha directing her next short film and was making Sid as hero and her friend Shivani as heroine.
While shooting the film, Sid feels like shivani is falling for him and it would create major problem in thier love life. In another side, Sid is working hard and made the project success. There is also a problem comes to his life who are Niharika and sahana. In the success celebration party Niharika and Sahana drinks a lot and kissing Sid and also clicking pictures.
Isha is noting that Shivani wants to impress Sid and gets angry over that issue. At this time Niharika posts that clicked pics in Facebook. Whether Niharika, sahana or Shivani will create a problem between Isha and Sid? If that happens what will be the reaction of Isha? If they overcome with this problem, how both gets permission for their marriage? will be the questions answered in the later pages.
Everyone loves happy ending but this ending is not an unexpected one. Overall I rate 4.5/5 for this book.
I am a Coffee addict and a chai lover but the aroma of coffee intoxicates me. That's the sole reason why I picked up this book. Thank you author Saravana Kumar Murugan for the review copy. What follows is an honest review.
The story of Coffee Date follows the life of Sid and Isha. The story is told in Sid's perspective. It is an everyday love story. Each of us has had a coffee date at some point of time in life. Coffee is one factor that binds the lovers. Patch-ups and break-ups often happen over a cup of coffee. So Isha is a filmmaker and Sid is an IT guy. Their lives are distinct but their love holds them in one tight grip. The climax of the story is quite unexpected.
Coffee Date is a full-on romantic novel. The love-story of Sid and Isha is not unique, but its simple, understated and realistic, and, sometimes that's all you need! It starts with how the two of them fall in love and decide to live with each other forever beyond. They face obstacles in their relationship but nothing could tear them apart until something happens that is not in their control. It's the first book in a series. A small snippet of the next one is given in the end and that plot twist is really interesting.
I feel the text could use another proof-read and editing. The story is heading somewhere interesting. Waiting for the future to enfold :)
The first thing about the book that caught my attention is the book cover. The book has a very pretty cover, the most beautiful cover I have seen in a long time. The title is also interesting. In the story Isha decides to shoot her next short film with her room mate Shivani and Sid.Eventually Sid realises that Shivani likes him,for she kisses him during the shoot. Niharika a colleague of Sid tries to win him over Isha. But the ever loyal Sid doesn't give in.She tries various things to grab his attention and spoil their love. All these events upsets Isha and corrode their relationship. From then its Sid's fight to win her back and the rest of their journey.
One thing I felt about the book is that it did not have a major twist until the climax.I really liked the climax though. The pace of the book is really fast which I am not a big fan of.The book on the whole was a bit too cheesy for my liking, but on the whole the story was good. The characters were good and defined. The whole story is written in the present tense which was another thing that I did not like. The printing and paper quality is good and I have no complaints. The book on the whole is a good short read.
The title says it's "The Real Taste of Love", whereas this story seemed far from Real. "Fairy tale Love" seems a more appropriate title for the story. In the story, the protagonist who is an orphan, makes his way from nowhere to a six digit paying job in Microsoft, falls in love with an extremely talented and beautiful girl. His love turns mutual without much of a struggle and they start living life like a "Happy ever after" couple. I admit only the end plot took me a little by surprise. I tried enjoying the narration and writing style but then a few grammatical errors took that away as well. The book is okay for a casual read but readers who enjoy the practicalities of life in a story will find it hardly entertaining.

My thoughts on this book :
Unfortunately this book could not meet my expectations. It is good for a light read but the author writes much better, because I've read his other books. The climax was good and it was an okay read for me. There are some typos and mistakes which spoilt the reading for me . I would suggest you to read the Kindle version if you want to, because the issues have been solved in that version.
I personally could not like this book much probably because I have read his book "Letters to my Son" , and that was a beautiful and heart warming read.
I know that the author will write many good books for the future and my best wishes are with him.
