The New Resonance series, published biennially since 1999, presents the work of newly emerging poets working primarily in English-language haiku in sufficient quantity for the reader to get a sense of their individual voices. Edited by Jim Kacian and Dee Evetts, both highly-acclaimed poets working in the genre, it has become a showcase for the future of haiku, and appearance within its pages is highly contested. Each volume contains the work of 17 poets. Volume 4 includes poems by Deb Baker, Katherine Cudney, William Cullen Jr, Anne LB Davidson, Ian Daw, Connie Donleycott, Efren Estevez, Jack Galmitz, Brenda J Gannam, Beverley George, Mark Hollingsworth, Deborah P Kolodji, Ron C Moss, Paul Pfleuger Jr, Chad Lee Robinson, Carmen Sterba, and Jennie Townsend.
This is one of an ongoing series, an annual anthology of contemporary haiku. I collect these as I find them and I have yet to be disappointed by any installment in the series.
