DAAAAYUMMMM, this was FUUUUEEEEGGGOOOO🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 it almost reminded me of jessa kane, that’s how hot it was, but still with Emma brays signature sweetness. The hero was brooding and reclusive and the heroine is the reporter sent to get the story he’s refused to tell anyone. He takes one look at her and BAMMM!!!! Knockout!! He’s on his proverbial backside, head over heels for her. He scoops her up and carries her out of the arena.
This was short but it was packed full of heat n feelz, and I loved it!
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned but he doesn’t come off as a manwhore. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No others, no cheating or sharing. Very minor unwanted OM drama which the hero shuts down. HEA with epilogue

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Riker meets Jessa when he's in the ring boxing, it's during his match he spots her and can't take his yes off her. Jessa is a reporter if she wants to stop writing the fluff pieces her boss told her to interview Riker and get the one question answered not reporter can, What happened that day. After Riker finishes his match, he knocks the guy out. He jumps the ropes and picks up Jessa and takes her to his dressing room. He makes everyone leave, then he asks her what her name is. Jessa tells her she a reporter, but he knew that. So he tells her that she can asks him one question and then he gets to asks a favor from her. So Jessa starts asking her questions but it's not the one she's suppose to asks. Riker asks her if he can taker her to dinner as his first favor. So they head to dinner, they are at a fancy restaurant and put in the back. When Jessa asks more questions it's not what Riker was expecting from her. When dinner arrives they both want the questions to stop while they eat. After they are finished eating Riker asks her for another question, then he asks her to go home with him. Jessa tells him she'll go home with him. When they get to his SUV they get buckled in and Riker drives until he comes to his garage where he parks. When they get out Riker takes Jessa to his waiting helicopter, they then take off for his home. They arrive at this home and it's not what Jessa would ever expect from him. She asks him a few more questions, and Riker asks her for more favors. They then start kissing and making out. Riker pleasures Jessa then takes her to his bedroom, then Jessa pleasures him. When they make love Jessa tells him she a virgin, but Riker tells her he already knows. They make love and then cuddle together. Riker tells Jessa she can ask him the question he knows she needs to ask. Jessa tells him she's not going to ask that question. Riker tells her he's going to tell her anyway. So after Riker tells her what happened that day, she tells him it's his secret and she's not going to share. Riker tells her it would make her career if she told his story, but Jessa tells him she already has everything she wants him. Riker tells her she's his. The next day Jessa sits in the VIP section when Riker has his boxing match. As she's watching him her boss comes and finds her. He shows her the paper and wants to know if she got the story. Jessa tells him no she didn't get it, but her boss doesn't believe her. Her boss grabs her arm and is hurting her, when Riker comes and pushes her boss. Jessa calls out to Riker not to do it, she needs him. So Riker stops and goes to Jessa, she asks him if he won and he tells her not when he jumped out he forfeited the match. One year later, they are married and Jessa is pregnant. She quit her job and now works from home, she does reporting online. Riker isn't doing as many boxing matches as he once was he doesn't need the money and wants to spend time with Jessa. Jessa tells him she loves him and Riker tells her he loves her. Jessa brought him back to life and now she's his now and forever. Jessa never tells Riker's story, but he's her hero.

Riker spots Jessa ringside and is immediately struck by the tiny blonde reporter. In spite of his known refusals to talk to any reporter he agrees to let her interview him but he has a few conditions. Jessa needs this interview and agreed to his terns. This grumpy man is putty in her hands he's out to claim her at any cost. Serious heat and a helicopter too!

Loved it!
Jessa and Riker were so good together. He shied away from reporters and wouldn't ever talk to them. When he saw her at ringside during one of his boxing matches, he knew he had to have her, no matter what. When he realized that she was a reporter, he didn't care and was willing to tell her his story just to have her. These two were so sweet and their story was wonderful. Loved it!

If you like the old fashioned Harlequin books inherited from your mother, you will like this. I feel that this little insta-love reads should be sweet, easy and without overly exorbitant drama, so far this writer's style meets my reading requirements without getting me all frazzled and pissed of with some jackalope imaginary H and doormat h.
No, this is not her best work but a very easy read nonetheless.

While it was a super, super fast OT insta-love meeting, I actually really loved this story. I loved the question for a favour angle and both of the characters were adorable.
