Rick is fighting the good fight—rebelling against the aliens who’ve invaded Earth. But when his mission goes awry, he finds himself captive to the very tentacled monster he’d planned to assassinate.

Most Supreme Specimen, as the alien insists on being called, claims he’s caring for Rick, that the invasive probing he regularly subjects Rick to is intended to ensure his good health, both mentally and physically, but Rick isn’t buying it. The aliens are evil, especially this one, and escape is necessary.

Right after this next probing…

”The Anti-Alien Alliance, North American Legion—or AAANAL as they were unfortunately referred to in the press—was a shadowy organization by design.”

This is a short novella about a group of people, AAANAL 😂😂, who are pissed our government allowed an alien species to infiltrate peacefully into society. They reminded me of the people who tried to stage a coup here (usa) a few years ago because AAANAL are absolute morons that had no real plan in place except to go in naked in war paint with guns blazing and hope for the best. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This plan obviously goes sideways with Rick ending up in a kinky rehabilitation program with the senator he was trying to kill. The problem was I HATED RICK and it made me feel pretty mehhh about a book I picked up because I wanted something smutty. Like I said above, Rick is like those stupid conspiracy theory people who believe Covid is a hoax, vaccines have microchips that track us, the earth is flat and all the other BS that makes me want to bash my head against the wall so being stuck in his mind the whole time was torture.

I tried to ignore Rick when the book became all fuck hot with tentacles, dubcon, sounding, probing etc but fucking Rick’s inner monologues made me fall asleep a few times 😂😂 However, with how short this was and the imagery shown below, I was able to overlook a lot of what bugged me and I liked how Rick finally became less of a shit near the end. Better late than never but I would have preferred more smut and less dumbassery. More probing less politics please.

”The main thing about Gwal was that he had a lot of tentacles. Eight of them, to be exact. So Rick could have one up his ass and one down his throat and one sucking him off and two working his nipples and still have three to spare for general bondage, which he was finding he enjoyed. It made him feel cared for.”

omg rick was absolutely insufferable!!!! his radical ideology, the sheeple comments, crazy conspiracy theorist shit😭😭 like rick SUCKS and he’s also the WORST rebel ever😂 i genuinely cackled every few pages like rick just has worms in his brain fr and it makes his inner monologue so funny but also u just want to throttle him constantly…..like so let’s get this straight…..u ran away from most supreme specimen almost immediately after admitting to urself that you felt more for him than lust(when that happened, idk), but u made sure to fuck him first, contemplate murdering his post orgasm passed out body, and are now “vaguely regretting” your escape after making it back to the human town……riiiiight that totally makes sense which is why u organize a team of AAANAL idiots to infiltrate qwazi and capture/harm more aliens….that definitely sounds like what someone who has feelings for one of the aliens would do🙄….also the aliens are SO freaking nice to rick like what is going on up in that head of his🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ ugh he’s just so aggravating the ENTIRE book…..but there is tentacle sounding so, u know, probes and cons😂😂😂😂😂 like pros and cons???🤭 lmao i’ll stop now

T.M. Chris knocks it out of the park again.

In summary:
 ~Funny, zany, utterly ludicrous
 ~Hot, thorough, very diligent
 ~Sweet, quite romantic

What more can you ask?

I appreciate the mostly non-anthropomorphic aliens, and how as Gwal and Rick get more comfortable, Gwal spends more time in his blob-like alien form.

It's a bit more saccharine than her other work and so not my top favourite (that would be Trained) but very enjoyable nonetheless.

Sexual content/kink: Aliens and tentacles, baby.

Definite points for creativity and a unique alien creature that still looks alien and not one that like 90% looks human.

This was funny and different, which is always good. I do wish there had maybe been a bit more of romance and getting to a believable emotional attachment between the two? I don't know if I ever really warmed up to Rick, and how he treated Most Supreme?

Not my favourite from this author, unfortunately. I never warmed up to Rick, and I couldn’t see the connection between Rick and Gwal.

I volunteer as tribute

I'll keep this short. I loved the ending. It was sweet, it was hot (in fact, most of this book was pretty hot) but dear lord I don't believe in did I hate Rick 70% of this. He was awful. And not just to Gwal, but in general. He was also stubborn to the point of stupidity and there is nothing I hate more in a book than having to follow a stupid character. It's unfortunate because the world is actually quite interesting. I really liked this alien species and I liked Gwal. He was adorable. Yes Rick does change, it feels somewhat out of nowhere. Again, All we see is him being awful and stubborn so when the change comes it feels someone out of nowhere. It makes the ending feel just a little unearned.

That being said, I'm not so daft to think anybody cares about any of that. This book is 60% tentacles smut with just enough plot to keep things moving along. That's what you're here for, that's why you're reading this. Had we been given scenes of Rick warming up to Gwal and the aliens (and if he had been a lot less awful) I would give him this this would have knocked it out of the park for me. But because I spent so much time hating Rick, it's getting 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up because the ending got to me.

That was weird? But also hot? But mostly weird.

Too many disturbing things in such a short story.
Normalisation of multiple sexual assault? Or the fact that he killed a woman but they said that it's okay bc she didn't have children?

Smut was good but it clearly didn't save the entire story.

Ok, so it’s good for some entertainment… but I have mixed feelings regarding Rick. You might see why depending on your own views.

I’d recommend if you like these kinds of things.

Can humans and aliens co-exsist on Earth?

4 probing stars (** Contains spoilers **)

An alien race, the Kathwacki, came to Earth out of necessity, not to invade and conquer. But humans being human, they resisted the aliens' attempts to live in harmony and share their advanced technologies.
Rick belonged to a guerrilla group whose goal was to make the Kathwacki flee from Earth or irradicate them. Attacks and assassinations were planned, with Rick being tasked with killing the aliens' ambassador, the Most Supreme Being.

However, the assassination attempt fails, resulting in Rick being captured and taken prisoner.

Prior to going before a Kathwacki court, Rick is medically "examined" by two alien "doctors". This exam entailed Rick being probed with many tentacles in all of his availabile orifacies, much to his undeniable pleasure.

After the court hearing, Rick is sentenced to "rehabilitation" with a Kathwacki. That alien turns out to be the Ambassador himself, who takes Rick to live with him in his sterile and very "white" colored home.

And so begins the rehabilitation of "Re-uk", as the Ambassador pronounces Ricks name. As it turns out, the aliens' idea of rehabilitation is carried out through caring about Rick's overall health (particularly his prostate, penis and hygiene) and attending to his every want and need.

As the months pass, Rick's attitude towards the alien race begins to alter. When Rick learns that the Kathwacki become unconscious after an orgasm, he convinces the Most Supreme Being to have sex with him so he can escape the alien city and return to humanity's territory.

The ruse works, but when Rick reunites with his rebel group, he discoverers something shocking about himself. Despite this revelation, he plans the group's next terrorist action against the Kathwacki. But he expressly forbids the harming of the Ambassador.

What follows gives humanity hope for a future with their alien invaders. And hope for a future between Rick and the Most Supreme lover he has ever known.

Written with astounding world building, dialogue understood only through a Transition device implanted into a human's ear and just a bit of snark, this story also, as one may imagine, contains plenty of heat of the tentacled sort. Much probing occurs, both willingly and forced. At the conclusion, there is a wise moral to be learned. Particularly in today's turbulent and divisive world.

4.5 stars. Twenty warriors, trained to assassinate the alien invaders. Among these warriors is Rick.

Rick planned to take out as many tentacle species as possible on his way to his main target, the Kathwacki ambassador Gwalizche.
One tiny problem, these invaders are extremely handsome and virile, but Rick is strong he will keep everything in his pants and finish these mind-controlling fuckers.

Except, on his first attempt he got caught already by tentacles. There goes the superior warrior.
Constraint, two aliens are examining his body with soft comfortable feelers, and his body reacts without his will. Dang, they feel good.

Convicted by the Kathwacki, Rick has to rehabilitate, whatever will that involve? Ha!
Imagine what tentacles can do with a body, yes that, and way more, at the same time!!
The rehabilitation Rick expected is far from what he received in reality, these aliens aren’t at all what he thought they’d be, certainly ambassador Gwalizche.

What we got here are Re-uk and Gwal because both can’t pronounce the other ones names, lol, they are attracted to each other. Still, Rick wants to escape.
There are, in my eyes, some funny moments, Rick acting as a recalcitrant human being, and the aliens acting dearly patiently. Rick really tried to stay skeptical, only… he failed. What a joy!

I love this author’s work, the stories are mostly on the short side, fast, clearly written, interesting, original, and deliciously sexy. With this one, I stepped into a world of combat and sci-fi, delightful communication and attraction. All so very enjoyable!

LOVE CHANGING HEARTS

This story is an exciting adventure of two individuals from different cultures and different communities who share a unique experience and a unique perspective that challenges their personal lives in a way that opens them up for love and compassion for each other and their own lives. This story is a parable about kindness and compassion for one who hates another person of another culture that shows how change can help bring two people together who feel loved for themselves and anther. A great book to read and with MM S&M mixed in, shows how we gay men love in very unique ways. Although fantasy, the story is similar to mine in many ways I have had with my partner.

Humans bad, aliens good, noncon rocks...
Probed is an odd, kind-of-sweet story despite the noncon. Favorite part is the alien concept...like a very squishy octopus that can force its matter to conform to the overall shape of a human, with decentralized sensory and speech functions. Rather than a "fated mate" trope, they tend toward emotionally intimate monogamous relationships because after an orgasm, they're left incapacitated and vulnerable for 15 minutes. The human character is not too thoughtful or bright but responds well to firm boundaries and consistent caretaking like...an actual pet. Short and amusing with well-written sex scenes.

Rick had joined the human cause to rid the earth of the alien invaders and a failed mission opens his eyes to the truth. Captured he assumes he will be tortured and killed but what comes next might surprise you. He is given to the Most Supreme Specimen to be rehabilitated and a whole new world opens up to him. This is a novella length story and I don’t want to give it all away so you really need to read how Rich and his Alien learn to live and love in this new world!

This is an entertaining and frequently hilarious read about a man who sets out to join those resisting the alien invasion of earth, and ends up experiencing a completely different kind of alien invasion. It's fun, with some non/dub con (I mean, the aliens don't ask if we want to be probed😉). I recommend this book for a fast, fun, erotic read. MUST LOVE TENTACLES.😎

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Probed doesn't take itself too seriously which makes for a fun read. It pokes fun at anti alien humans in ways that sound awfully familiar.
Rick is sent to end one and ends up captured and then sentenced to rehabilitation. There's a bit of non con in there, a cultural difference that the aliens don't get, but largely Rick is treated like a pampered pet.
Despite it being a novella it's easy to see where Rick's mindset shifts.
A quick paced, steamy story

Rick definitely isn't a great alien fighter, but that works out to his delightful advantage when he's captured and spends time with his captor. This is a steamy, light-hearted tentacle story perfect for a summer afternoon read by the pool.

Eh. It’s ok. The idea - a young human man and one of the alien invaders on Earth. The setup is basically a way to get the young man under the guardianship of the alien male. There are tentacles and probing, natch. But it’s a love story too, not just sex.

This was a really simple story, lots of smut. I can't tell if the translators are secretly supposed to be brainwashing, or if the author can't write character development. It's really robotic and kind of dehumanizing.

But like, it did smut pretty well.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. I have to admit Rick and Gwal are both hot and cute together. I laughed so much throughout it especially Rick and his blundering. After the hand over, there was humans that rebelled of the aliens interference. Fight the Kathwacki, well sign Rick right on up or that was the plan right!?! Only what he got was a hilarious named group of wannabe that was so unorganized..now he was under the very tentacle he was out to destroy.
