Becca survived her first year of college (barely) and now she's out for summer break. This would be an awesome time to hang out with her mega cute and famous motocross racing boyfriend, Nolan Park, but unfortunately for her, she just broke up with him.

As much as she likes Park, she couldn't handle the emotional turmoil of having him go back home to California after every visit. The paparazzi are watching his every move and Becca doesn't like what she sees about Park online. She thinks the time apart will do her some good.

Pure frustration! After chapter one I was ready to wring Becca's neck!! Then I remembered she's still young and was fueled by her emotions instead of her head.

As with the rest of the Summer series, Summer Apart was so good I couldn't put it down, thankfully it was only 16 chapters! It was a great quick read and perfect to start off the new year!

Becca Sosa has just finished taking her final exams for the semester at Lawson Texas Community College, and she is glad because she is beginning to hate school. Could she really make a living as a artist? Her ex-boyfriend, the gorgeous Nolan Park, who just happens to be a semi-famous motocross racer, thinks so. In fact, he has even helped her to sell two of her art pieces for her! Even after she told him she wasn't going to be a long distance girlfriend anymore since he lives in California, but they have still managed to see each other a few times. Are they just friends now? Not unlike her best friend Bayleigh's experience, she doesn't want to get her heart broken, and then she sees a picture of a cute blonde on Nolan's arm in the newest internet motocross magazine, and that seals it. She just needs to concentrate on her summer job at the BMX track and forget about Nolan, because he is obviously a player. It's going to be a long summer!

I enjoyed reading all four of the novellas for Becca and Park's story. I read all of them in a day and I didn't need to be attached to my Kindle to do it so they weren't very long but they still felt full. There was enough character and story development to make me care about what happened. I was disappointed at the end of the last one but only because I wanted to know more about Becca and Park, their story certainly doesn't feel over yet, but the book summary mentions that Summer Forever was the last planned book in this spin-off series. I hope the author changes her mind.

I am so BallyMena fire alleges her head out overbought and gives park the chance he deserves. Becca is ladybugs love the way she thinks.

Becca's old self comes out and she begins to feel as if she is not good enough and jealousy begins to take root in her head. She is on a self sabotage mission that is a bit hard to read.
