This is a fantastic "how-to" book on beading and embroidery - clear instructions, great photographs and a wonderful variety of ideas and suggestions.

This is a decent reference book, esp for beading, like on wedding gowns, but I wanted inspiration, and everything was very frou-frou and kind of awful. So, instructions, useful, ideas, not so much.

I don't intend to make clothes, but I thought I could learn more about embellishment techniques (piping, beading, using/making bias tape) to use on other things. I have a few tricks tucked away, thanks to this book.
