Boat
By: Eric Kentley

This is a concise, general and very well illustrated book on boats i.e. from early types like canoes, rafts, outriggers etc. to steam ships and modern day luxury yachts and supertankers. The book also describes boats' sutructure, their types of sails and many other useful information.

An interesting feast for info hungry minds about the topic!

A nice basic introduction to boats! Lots of pictures and descriptions and stuff. I loved this series as a kid and they're still pretty great and I wish there were stuff like this but more in-depth and for adults.

OK I know these are supposed to be kid books but they are awesome! Great pictures and just enough text to make you want to learn more. Great choices for a beginning history reader or to start an older reader out in a new area. Every time I pick one of these up and read it I learn new things. Highly Recommended
