Yes I know these are aimed at a younger audience but i just love reading them. Excellent layout of pics and text and tons of good information. Highly recommended
I didn't know much about the Wild West until I read this book! There were images and facts that were very interesting and I learned a lot. Photos that were taken in real time givens the reality of what the Wild West used to be. The book was split up into sections such as "The spirit of Native America", The calvarymen", and "pushing westward" just to name a few.
I think this is an easy book for children to learn and get good information from. Another advanced book that is similar to any eyewitness book. I think for any kind of reading projects, this would be a great book for that too! These types of books are great for keeping around even as an adult! The language and naming of cities is where children learn more sophisticated language.
