Random late night hook-up? Sure, that's happened. But never like this.
Middle of the night, middle of nowhere, and she comes along. A tow-truck driver with sass, style, and curves like a country road. She hooks me up and tows me into town. Doesn't take much to convince me to stick around, especially when I find out some scumbag is trying to drive her out of business. She needs me. She just doesn't know it yet. She also doesn't know who I really am.
I received a digital ARC of this novella. The only thing I don’t like about Jen Bee’s novellas is that they aren’t full length books. I’m always wanting more of the story and characters. This is book 2 of the series, but can be read as a stand alone. Frankie is a single mom working 3 jobs. One of those jobs is a tow truck driver. One night at 2 am she’s called to go rescue a guy driving a BMW in the middle of nowhere. When she arrives she judges him by his clothing and assumes he’s just a hired driver. But Joe is really the CEO of a company. But he plays along when he finds out she needs his help with some things around her shop. Frankie thinks Joe is cute, but judges him on what she thinks is his profession and that he would be gone as soon as the BMW is fixed. Can Joe break down her walls without revealing his secret? Enter the ex-gf shows up claiming to be his fiancé, what a mess. You’ll have to read to find out what happens.
Another wonderful story from Jen Bee! I loved Franki and Joe, the perfect couple! Franki, a single mum to daughter Tatum and Joe who appeared to be a regular guy when they met. It was a fun and light hearted book with some steam, which I wished had gone on longer. Franki was smart and sassy and Joe was incredibly kind and it wasn't long until Franki and Tatum became very fond of him. I loved the description of him removing his clothes in front of Franki, holy hotness!!! The ending was lovely, I had tears in my eyes and a big smile on my face! I recommend all of Jen Bee's books! Love Frankie!!! This is about Frankie, Joe, and Tatum! Note that Tatum is Frankie’s daughter as she is a single mom! This book is about a woman being in a man’s shoes, and I love it. The damsel in distress was not Frankie, and she was the white knight! A little about the story is that Frankie assumes that Joe is just a driver, but soon finds out that he is more than that, and this woman doesn’t back down! I love these kinds of books as the woman is doing the saving instead of the man!

This is such a delightful series. Franki and Joe are so perfect for each other they give me a toothache. The only criticism I have of this series is that they're too short. They're the perfect bite-sized stories with fully formed characters that you'll love. Bee is great with having the plot and spice be balanced and equal for the length of the story.
I want to know what happens with Franki's business. I wish there was some sort of blurb about it in the epilogue.
Franki and Joe’s story is a sexy, short, sweet read. Franki is a single mom who runs a garage and teaches at a vocational school. Joe is a gorgeous CEO on the brink of mega success. When Franki tows Joe’s new BMW in the wee hours of the morning, she assumes he’s a transport driver and Joe is very slow to correct that notion. Smitten with the statuesque badass, Joe stays longer than expected in Franki’s hometown because he’s not ready to leave Franki and her adorable daughter Tatum.
I received an advance reader copy from the author and bookstores and I’m sharing my honest thoughts.
Everything about this book was amazing… the chemistry, the hotness, the banter and the spice was so good. The book made me laugh, squeal, blush and everything in between. Definitely deserves more than five stars. Highly recommend! The writing flowed easily and I couldn't put it down for one second. I can't wait to read more from Jen Bee.

Another great book in this series. Franki and joe come from very different worlds but they are perfect together. Franki is a strong character and it’s nice to read about women taking control of their lives. Although the story is short, this didn’t affect the storyline at all and it didn’t feel rushed. I received a copy from Booksirens and leave my review voluntarily.
Another great little short story by Ms. Bee. I found this one to be more sweet than heat but I still really enjoyed the characters. Jen somehow manages to convey a lot of story and feeling in such a short time!
