Volume 13 has some slow but interesting moments, a little calm before the storm. What i liked about this is that the author move the side adventurers to the front lines, there's more of the whitch, the spear dude, etc. The bunch of rookies, some are intriguing and the rest, no one will miss them if they get eaten by goblins hahaha.

Overall: The series keeps up with the fun, there's not a lot of fight scenes here but it seems that volume 14 is gonna be packed.

Che peccato non avere tra le mani il volume 14 per vedere la conclusione di questo arco narrativo, che ha lasciato diversi spunti di riflessione interessanti. A partire dalla figura del nostro Goblin Slayer che, nel corso dell'ultimo anno, è molto cambiato - è sicuramente ancora un tipo strambo, fissato con i goblin, e che continua a non togliersi mai l'armatura, ma ha anche imparato a collaborare con altri, a chiedere aiuto e ha offrire il suo supporto. È diventato un team leader e, a dispetto del suo modo di fare, segue molto attentamente la crescita della piccola sacerdotessa e degli altri giovani avventurieri. Da piccolo voleva diventare sì un avventuriero, ma, di sicuro, di un tipo diverso rispetto alla sua condizione attuale. E invece la vita l'ha portato in una direzione diversa (e non è l'unico che ha rinunciato ai suoi sogni di bambino), una strada che non può ancora abbandonare, anche perché i goblin sono in movimento e hanno preso di mira il nuovo centro di addestramento.
E così, Goblin Slayer e compagnia cantante dovranno unire le forze per liberarsi di quegli esseri schifosi, potendo contare anche sulla presenza di altri avventurieri esperti. E questa sarà anche l'opportunità per la piccola sacerdotessa di mettersi alla prova: Orcbolg e gli altri gli hanno dato fiducia e ora starà a lei farsi valere e proteggere le nuove leve.
Speriamo di non dover attendere un altro anno per il volume 14...

Goblin Slayer #13 is clearly the middle chapter of the training arc but still has a lot of good things going for it. The growth of both Goblin Slayer and Priestess's character was really good to see, especially with Priestess trying to get her promotion and it was cool to see GS socialise more. There is a good bit of Goblin Slaying as well.
However it can't help but feel like a bit of padding and there sadly wasn't much more development on the other rookies this time around. Also, it seems that Superman Vs Meshi has inspired this volume with quite a bit of food being shown off, which is very strange.

Absolutely love the world of Goblin Slayer! It's a fantastic and interesting story based in clearly a D&D setting. It's a fine balance of tongue in cheek references and hard pack action. Seeing character growth in our heroes is always a delight as well.

Uccide ancora goblin. Non so nemmeno più perché lo leggo. Non ci sono mai evoluzioni e il personaggio principale comincia a essere inverosimile.
