Facing Addiction: Three true stories

Rate this book
It's easy to quit using drugs and alcohol. Just ask Gwen, Miguel and John. They've done it dozens of times. The hard part is not starting again. These true stories describe three people's decent into addiction and their struggles to recover. Gritty and sad, painful and inspiring, these stories show both how low the human spirit can fall and how it can rise again, against all odds.

I like this series very much. The three teenage pregnant mothers as well as this topic are written in engaging and stimulating stories. I hope to use them to inspire students to avoid or cope with these issues.

All three of these Beth Johnson books are kinda corny. I wanna rate them higher out of respect for the ppl’s stories and experiences, but the way they’re written is just not that interesting to me. Great concept, could’ve been better.
