Some true history but lots of artistic license applied. Mostly a love story with some explicit material.

I really enjoy this book. I read it many years ago and went back to read it twice more.

Acoma by Lana M. Harrigan is another of those bargain bin treasures. What a great read it is with love, adventure, hate, greed, cruelty and tenderness--oh, and a little incest thrown in. This was a great book about New Mexico from 1597-1620 or so. Fascinating!

Interesting place and time in history, ruined for me by the author's sexual fetish.
