Dan Black was a famous editor and proprietor of the Northern Yankee News, he was a publisher of a weekly newspaper in the early seventies in a Lumbering town in northern Michigan. The author of this book had in my possession a file of the News covering nearly two years, and he will tell you a story about him. This edition is republished by Leopold classic library. Seymour Eaton (1859-1916) was a Canadian-born American author, journalist, editor, and publisher. He founded the Booklovers' Library in 1900 which became known as the world's largest circulating library, and is credited with coining the name "Teddy bear".
