I found this book to be very insightful. It plainly explains God's principles about money and the attitude we should have regarding God's money.

I did not research the author before reading this book. I’m glad I did not. I learned that God can use people to speak His Word. We hold the pen, He does the writing. The book is filled with scripture about how God will bless those who are faithful to Him in their tithes & offerings. As the author tells us, our tithes & offerings are not just our money, but rather money, time & talents. It’s also about attitude. Giving of ourselves in service. Believing & claiming His promises. I’ve seen this many times in my life & lives of people around me. We can’t sit on the sofa & expect the blessings of God to pour down on us. Doesn’t work that way. I’ve seen this too. I am defending the scripture & the God whose Word is true. I am sorry for Marcus Bishop. How did he get thrown so far off track? I can’t help but wonder what has become of him. I pray he will find his way back to God & read the words of his book. I pray he will be convicted to work the principles & laws that govern God’s kingdom.

Finally finished. First read this in 1998 as a gift from TBN. Loved the book because every statement was backed up by the Word.
Decided to reread and started in July this year. Was discouraged because I did a google on the author to see how well he was doing and he wasn't doing so well so I put it down. When I considered picking it up again, the Lord arrested me in affirming that He is not a liar and neither is His word. The author was used for a season in writing the book and despite his fall, the content of the book is still sound.
And boy is it ever.
Isaiah 48:17 sums it up as to why we need to understand how the Kingdom of God works.
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,The Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,Who teaches you to profit,Who leads you by the way you should go."

Another book in the "prosperity thinking" fringe of Christianity (whose most popular guru at the moment is Joel Osteen). If God wants us all rich, then why is the world so poor; especially Third World Christians? I guess their faith is not big enough. After all, is not all that disease, revolution, genocide, and starvation proof of their lack of faith...right prosperity guys? Heck, if they only "believed", they would all be driving Cadillacs!
