Hidden in the pages of the Old Testament is the beautiful story of love and redemption between a wealthy landowner and a poor widow. The story of Ruth and Boaz, carefully explained by Stephen Davey, will dazzle the imagination and ignite the emotions. Walk beneath the shadows of despair as Ruth and Naomi eek out an existence by foraging for leftover grain. Feel the emotions of Boaz as he carefully protects Ruth while secretly yearning for her affections. Watch in amazement as the sovereign hand of God is revealed in making this fairytale come true.

Wonderful book about THE book - one of the 39 in the O/T era that doesn't get as much attention as others ( such as Proverbs, Psalms, Exodus ) , yet is filled to the brim with importance that spills out over the pages of Pastor Davey's pages in his 'Wisdom Commentary' series.

Wonderful little book! Dr. Stephen Davey is a favorite of mine. He can make a story come alive with details. I love learning new things from the Bible. He never disappoints as a teacher.
