If anyone had any doubts about this being a gay porn version of Alice in Wonderland, you would know in this book. And somehow it fits having the red queen being a red demon. This time the book was definitely into the direction of the horror genre since the sex was definitely shown as rape, which you can expect from a bloodthirsty demon. The ending was... as you would expect it. I found it pretty funny actually. The whole story was a mix of funny and horrific in my mind. I read it in one stride never pausing to comment.
So yeah I really liked it, then again the last other short story author I read was Cassandra Clare and next to her this here looks like gold so maybe I am not the best judge at the moment. :D

Skipped around.. didn't realize this was the last in this mini series.. but glad so now I can cross the remaining ones off as i should have done with this one. I was hoping that even for short stories that this wasn't all about borderline rape and definite non consensual. enough said

Alex meets the demon who killed the vampire for failing to paint the roses red with Alex's blood. The final lesson is life isn't fair. Alex is awakened to find he is back on the plane and out of Wonderland. Alex ships back the rabbit and vows not to steal again.
