The brainchild of a late night and one too many drinks, Hate Mail began with self-styled ‘Master of Pens’, Mr. Bingo, sending a single tweet off into the pipes of the internet. It read: "I will send a postcard with an offensive message on to the first person who replies to this." Then, the replies came in.
Over 1000 abusive postcards later, Mr. Bingo has become the world’s hate mailist par excellence, verbally and visually abusing people the world over, all eager to receive their own bespoke piece of personalised spite. Hilariously irreverent and insidiously inspired, Hate Mail: The Definitive Collection is the ultimate celebration of Mr. Bingo’s Hate Mail project. Previously available only via a Kickstarter subscription, this bumper edition of ALL NEW postcards is a must-have for all Hate Mail devotees.
This wasn't intended as my first read of 2017, but I have absolutely no regrets. This is absolutely hysterical - it's so funny, and every single page is funnier than the last. It's a burst of humour that is brilliant for a rainy, cold, winters day. It is absolutely fantastic and such a unique idea! I laughed so much at these. I genuinely don't think that there was one that I didn't enjoy, or at least slightly snigger at - it tickled my crude humour brilliantly.
If you enjoy crude humour, insults and general hilarity, I would 100% recommend this. But if you're easily offended, I really wouldn't bother - because it really is a book of insulting postcards. But it's so, so, so, hilarious - particularly because the fantastic Mr Bingo is British; and we British are notorious for keeping insults to ourselves.
I just genuinely found this absolutely hysterical! I cannot explain how funny this actually is to me - it's so clever, witty, funny, sharp... I just generally loved it. I really, really did.
And the best thing is, I can pick it up over and over again whenever I need a good giggle - because it really does supply you with a really quick, sharp burst of humour!
A collection of 100 hate mails from Mr Bingo, which are simply offensive postcards with doodles.
This is lighthearted, and shouldn’t be taken seriously. This should be read/viewed by anyone who will be offended by the use of the following cunt, alternative words for dick and fuck.
Lovely made book. Similar content to his last book of hatemail. so if you have that one unless you love really well made books or 3d printing jokes you might not need this one. If you dont have his old one get this one though.
Hilariously obscene collection of Mr Bingo's favourites from his Hate Mail project - pay good money to a professional artist to have him draw a lovingly rendered insult on the back of an item from his collection of vintage postcards, and post it to you. Having done nearly a thousand of these, he then launched a Kickstarter to publish his favourites as a high quality art book. Whether or not you enjoy the contents depends very much on your sense of humour, but if it is your sort of thing, here it is in a physical object that's a work of art in itself. It's printed on heavy art paper, Smyth-sewn, clothbound casing, and tastefully stamped in gold foil with the title on the spine and a line drawing on the front cover reflecting the contents. That line drawing being of an octopus putting two fingers up at the world with all eight legs...
I must be missing some other meaning here or something because I didn't think this was funny and it was kinda boring after the first few. So you request that a total stranger send you a postcard with something offensive about you personally on it, whoopie freakin' do.
I think you will either love this or hate it. I loved it Basically, it’s a set of postcards (not very good ones at that) which Mr Bingo sent to people with some of his art work on. And all the artwork is insulting to the recipient. It made me laugh a lot.
