Just like for his first book, I'd caution readers to take Moses Avalon's writings with a huge grain of salt. Having said that, I would still recommend this to anyone who will be dealing with recording contracts (in whatever capacity). If nothing else, it will give you an idea of how complicated and treacherous things can be.

I really like how Avalon explains the legality of the music business in very simple English. His straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to explain how you can get screwed over in the music business made this book VERY memorable and captivated unlike other music industry books.
