After twelve years ministering in Asia, they left in 1992 to do their PhD's at King's College London, UK. In 1995 they started a new ministry to the poor and homeless children in Mozambique.

Lots of stories, encouraging, hopeful and powerful. Heidi shares testimony after testimony in this book.

You don’t read this book for the writing. It’s a collection of blog posts and writings from the Baker’s ministry year 2005-2006. It’s full of incredible testimonies and wild works of an amazing God.
If only that’s all it was. If there’s one thing a book like this doesn’t need to do, it’s try to convict the “Western church.” The testimonies do so much to stir our hearts and fire us up to be a part of what God is doing, only to be doused and quenched by being told we aren’t doing enough on our side of the globe.
The miracles and stories were enough to get us moving, just go with that.
